The latest book that I received from Packt Publishing to review is Creative Motion Mastery with Adobe After Effects by Vishu Aggarwal. This book is broken down into three sections, each focusing on a common use for After Effects: Working with Motion Graphics, Post-Production and Visual Effects, and 2D and 3D Tracking and Rendering. Agarwal begins by introducing new users to the After Effects interface and quickly moves to some basic techniques such as animating text and shapes as well as adding motion to Photoshop and Illustrator files. He then introduces the reader to more intermediate/advanced techniques such as fixing colors, working with green screens, and adding particle systems to their video content. Throughout the book, the reader is provided step-by-step instructions on each technique accompanied by helpful color images to guide the reader through each process. I would recommend this book for anyone looking to start learning After Effects or current users who want to up their game with the application. There is something in this book for everyone from total beginner through the intermediate user. Even some advanced users may even walk away with some new skills.
