What is wrong with people? What would you not do that stops you from getting a laugh or attention at the cost of someone else’s well-being—especially an innocent toddler? People, this isn’t just a one-time stunt on America’s Funniest Home Videos. This is begging for other lemmings to follow as a reaction to their actions. The poor girl, who is special needs and hits herself after the egg strikes her, isn’t laughing. That’s an honest, innocent reaction to the motivated action stricken upon her. Sad! Just like many music artists who would decline a music license for their music to be used in films or television for scenes depicting violence, sex, drug use, or vile behavior, music artists must stand up and say no to using their music (in this form of sync) for bad actors of social media. An intentionally safe platform where there are no bad video actors, like Sonar, IS essential. It’s a place where music can be viral without violence, abuse, or stupidity. Let’s give the voices of the artist who sing their lungs out back the control to say no, no, no! No more using my art to make others laugh in jest—unless you say so. Dyslexics are creative thinkers who create novel solutions!) Took my BlackRook Academy students out on a shoot day to capture a mother/daughter business collaboration. The students captured and edited video content for both Ann Vasey for Grapevine Marketing - Digital Marketing Agency and Hannah Grace for ‘Hannah Grace Medical Beauty. After a week of teaching them the theory of video content creation with small exercises to practice their skills, we take the students out to film real businesses and present their content to the employers who interview them with the possibility of employing them. It’s so rewarding when I see one of my students gain employment. It’s not easy managing socials and content creation but I do enjoy it. I find it more enjoyable because I believe in what I share and work with some of the most passionate individuals I’ve ever met.
