The first million dollar Life Insurance policy I sold ended in disaster. The client who purchased this policy from me was a school friend's dad. They sought me out and wanted to get in place $1 million of life cover. What they failed to tell me, and what I, inexperienced as I was, failed to dig out was a very crucial piece of information: The to-be-insured party had just undergone chemotherapy. Three months later, the insured father passed away. And when the Insurance company found out that I hadn't done my due diligence here, I got heavily investigated, too.
