Richmond High School is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Lee as its new Athletic Director, effective July 1, 2024. Mr. Lee brings 34 years of experience in athletic administration and coaching to Richmond High School. He most recently served as Athletic Director for Gary Community Schools in Gary, Indiana for the last four years. His athletic and coaching experiences also include Butler University, Eastern Michigan University, Valparaiso University, Miami University, Earlham College and the NFL’s Chicago Bears. “We are thrilled to welcome Robert Lee to the RHS family,” said Rae Woolpy, Principal of Richmond High School. “His passion for student-athletes’ success, both on and off the field, aligns perfectly with our school’s mission. We’re confident that our athletic programs will continue to thrive under his leadership.” As Athletic Director, Mr. Lee will oversee all aspects of Richmond Community Schools’ athletic programs, including budget management, scheduling, coach development, and ensuring compliance with state and national athletic association regulations. Mr. Lee holds a master’s degree in management from National University and a bachelor’s degree in supervision from Purdue University.
