For me, this year’s #AVMA2024 conference is more than a meeting of great veterinary minds discussing the latest trends; it's an opportunity to bring industry leaders together with a shared goal of solving workforce challenges facing #veterinaryhealth teams (VHTs). I am excited to be here early in Austin this week to advance this crucial initiative at our pre-conference workshop. I look forward to engaging with some of the industry’s top leaders on how we can co-create and advance actionable solutions that will set VHTs up for success as the industry evolves. These teams are crucial to ensuring #animalhealth and delivering a positive experience for their owners, but they are under immense pressure to perform. The priorities we’ve heard across the profession are loud and clear: well-being support, job flexibility, teamwork, culture, and the integration of technology and modern medical practices. These are not just nice-to-haves—they are essential to keeping people in our profession. Focusing on the human side of the equation, we’ll help enable a culture that resonates with everyone, from technicians to practice owners, equipping them with resources like toolkits that boost practice efficiency and morale. Let's make this year’s AVMA conference a turning point for our industry, where we commit to advancing the needs and priorities of those who are its backbone. I look forward to sharing the results of our meeting soon!  #VetVision2024 #VeterinaryMedicine
