This is a WCT Kate fear business break. Hello, thanks for watching. Today we are in the studio talking with Doctor Michael Riccobene, CEO of Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry. It's a pleasure to have you. It's great to be here. Tell us your story of how you became a dentist and started Rika Benny Family Dentistry. Well, in 1996, I was looking throughout the country to see where I wanted to live, where I wanted to raise a family. So I'd always read newspapers and they would say North Carolina was the best place to raise a family, to start a business, had great education, great healthcare. So I was lucky to get one of the five spots. At UNC Chapel Hill and oral medicine and I really learned the appreciation for comprehensive dental care. So in 2000 when I started my first practice in Johnston County, the people in Johnson County, since there was a small little town were used to being referred in to different practices for specialists and things like that. But my idea was to do everything under one roof. So because we did that, because we also paid attention to customer service and because my philosophy was it's not just about the patients, but to create an environment for our employees to thrive, our practice grew and from Johnson. County we grew to Wake County and finally in 2017, even here to Wilmington. And tell us about your growth plan and how you came to be Wilmington's best dentist. Well, when I think about growth plan, people think about adding practices. But our vision is to change lives one smile at a time. And that's not just the lives of our patients, it's also the lives of our employees. It's, it's putting your hand around one of your, the fellow employees and give them a smile when they think they need it. Or the patient that is fearful and looks up at you and you need to give them a smile so you make them feel good. So our vision is to do that and to spread it not only to North Carolina, to South Carolina and to Virginia. And we've been able to do. Anything else? Well, on behalf of my organization, I'd like to thank the Wilmington community for voting us best Dentist. We hope to not only meet your expectations, but to exceed them.
