I met an amazing man in the late 90s, Frank Guidara , who was running Wolfgang Puck Cafes while I was CEO of Louise's Trattoria. At a social event, he introduced me to his wife, Janet, who was in a wheelchair and later learned she had brain cancer. Despite working 6 days a week, Frank would return home everyday to care for his wife and son, whom he was solely raising. Will Guidara his son, followed in his father's footsteps and became the owner of 11 Madison, voted best restaurant in the world. It was an honor to introduce Will to the stage today and hear him speak about Unreasonable Hospitality.
