City and County of Honolulu Office of Climate Change, Sustainability and Resiliency’s Post

Hawaiian Electric's Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) are part of our new climate reality in the wake of the Maui fires. Creating more resilient power systems, such as PV coupled with battery storage, have now become even more valuable to keep things running for impacted communities. The Inflation Reduction Act's tax credits and refunds mean you can get 30% or more of the expense covered, even for non-profits such as an homeowner association, religious organization, or a community-based organization. 🔹 PSPS: https://lnkd.in/giFp-sAg 🔹 IRA: www.resilientoahu.org/ira #ClimateResilience #DirectPay #SolarForAll
