Last week, we proudly marked a major milestone as we celebrated the completion of the first AVDS-1790 engine for the Taiwanese M60 Repower Program, now ready for delivery. This engine is one of over 36,000 to be manufactured at our facility on South Getty Street in Muskegon, Michigan.   Our team, alongside our valued Taiwanese customer, commemorated this achievement as the first of many engines to be successfully built and tested for this critical program. With full-rate production underway and a robust backlog of new engines on order, we are excited to continue expanding our relationships with new and existing customers as we bring additional orders to life.   What we do matters—We power freedom.   #PartnersinFreedom #manufacturing #defense #Muskegon

This week, RENK America had the honor of welcoming 99-year-old Carol Anderson, a true American icon and real-life Rosie the Riveter, to our facility in Muskegon, Michigan. Our proud manufacturing history at 76 South Getty Street spans over a century, and in 1944, Carol answered the Nation’s call to serve. As part of the Continental Motors Company, she worked on the engine line, assembling the legendary Merlin engines that powered the P-51 Mustang fighter plane during World War II. When Kyle Hansen, our Director of Transmission Product Engineering, discovered his grandmother’s remarkable legacy at our facility, he knew he had to bring her back for a visit. Though the manufacturing floor has evolved over the past 80 years, the memories shared during this special tour brought history to life for Kyle and his family. The RENK America team was privileged to honor Carol as she walked our transmission and engine production lines. Ted Tadeusz Trzesniowski, CEO of RENK America, presented Carol with a commemorative plaque and a custom Rosie the Riveter poster featuring her likeness. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Anderson and Hansen families for this memorable visit. Just as Carol and countless other “Rosies” helped power the pursuit of freedom all those years ago, we proudly continue that mission today. We power freedom.
