We recently discussed the importance of experimentation in the creative process with our dear friend Tracey Halvorsen at adeo. Exploring other views, thoughts, and approaches different from your own can be a humbling experience— but necessary for those more interested in learning than being right. At DEEO, We consider experimentation a form of exploration into our craft—a way to educate ourselves on other talents, ideas, philosophies, and approaches. It will plant a seed that grows during the creative process with our clients. Without experimentation, we stop learning, evolving, and bettering ourselves.

Valio shutting down two plants in Finland - Valio, a key player in the food and drink industry, has recently announced plans to close two manufacturing facilities in Finland. The closures, expected to take place by the first half of 2026, are part of the company’s strategic move to improve production efficiency and profitability. The affected sites in Turku and Pitäjänmäki will transfer their operations to Valio’s plant in Riihimäki. The Riihimäki site specializes in the production of Oddlygood plant-based snacks and dairy products. Explaining the rationale behind the closures, Valio cited “production and economic reasons” as the driving force. It is the best ideea of the year, I support this campaign and I recommend to the leaders in another organization to check over other departments duties, because it can be helpful to understand the whole company running process by the first step till the end. Also leaders must know why the production, warehouse, pickers can have difficulties or delays. If they just sit in their chairs and don't wish to get involved then they never see what is happening through different departaments. Be brave to support this project in the future! Implementing changes, product improvements or service upgrades will result in increased revenue, but the most important result will be the satisfied customer.

Sometimes is good to show ”real life and challenges” in mill environment to our partners. They have professional OT/IT specialist and we have needs. Together we can answer business needs when understanding these in both side.
