How Does A Sewer Cleaning And Inspection Work? Curious about what is happening inside your sewer line? Most people would respond NO until they begin experiencing a problem. Then their curiosity grows. Here are a few facts about a cleaning and sewer line inspection. Cleaning should be the first step in conducting a camera inspection since a clean pipe is easier to evaluate. Hydrojetting the sewer line will remove dirt and debris and allow trained technicians to see the type and condition of your sewer line and identify possible problems that may be brewing. Using a camera mounted on a long cable, the technician inserts the cable down branch lines from faucets, sinks, and tubs into the sewer line. Above ground, a device takes in and records signals from the camera to complete the inspection. We offer cleaning and inspections of sewer lines in Clarksville. Give us a call! #SewerClreaning #SewerInspection

As this video shows, the importance of passive fire protection is paramount. As the Senior Engineer responsible for the passive fire protection for a major infrastructure project, I've cultivated a profound appreciation for the intricacies of fire engineering within the construction industry. The complexities involved in developing and successfully implementing fire strategies underscore the critical role that meticulous planning and execution serves. Throughout this endeavor, managing a team of civil engineers and specialist fire engineers, we navigated the challenges associated with passive fire protection. Overseeing the entire spectrum, from project fire strategy refinement to intumescent paint, fire compartmentation (including compartmentation walls), fire stopping, the installation of fire doors (both timber and steel), and bespoke passive fire protection details to address limitations in material and product testing and certification. This experience has deepened my understanding of the paramount importance of active and passive fire protection, emphasising the pivotal role it plays in safeguarding structures and lives. It also highlighted the intricate dance between regulatory compliance, material and product certification, and the necessity to innovate within the constraints of testing and certification limitations. As I reflect on this journey, I am inspired by the realm of fire engineering. The lessons learned will undoubtedly shape my approach to future projects, fostering a dedication to continued learning and navigating the complexities within the fire engineering industry. #passivefireprotection #firestopping #firesafety #fireengineering https://lnkd.in/e7aZ_eCj

NYC’s Local Law 152 requires gas piping systems in all buildings (excluding 1-2 family homes) to be inspected every four years. Property owners must hire a licensed master plumber to conduct the inspections and file certification with the NYC Department of Buildings. Failure to comply can result in hefty fines and safety risks. Protect your tenants and avoid penalties by scheduling these inspections on time. Key Points: -Inspections every 4 years -Certification filing required -Fines for non-compliance #locallaw152 #gassafety #nyclaws #propertymanagement #kahananyc #landlordresponsibilities

Interesting read - A lot of emphasis goes towards ensuring passive fire protection products are installed by contractors with relevant UCAS accredited third party certification, yet we somehow seem to forget about the partition itself which is ultimately the very first thing that contains a compartment fire. In buildings we have 'fire doors' and 'fire-stopping' - yet we don't refer to partitions as 'fire walls' which Joe Cilia (Finishes and Interiors Sector) has been calling for for some time.
An onsite fire engineer, engaged on behalf of the end client during the construction of a new residential development, reports a significant amount of inadequately installed passive fire protection elements. Discover the lesson learned: https://bit.ly/3GneJjb

Any pipes used to direct water inside the home or into the sewage system should be properly tightened to avoid leaks. This drainage pipe was not secured causing water to seep out. Luckily, this home had a maintenance hatch to properly view the components where most homes do not have an opening. Stormwater Quality Detention Pond Inspections Monthly Inspection: The monthly inspection is much the same as the initial inspection with the exception that you will not need to identify the structures and outfall location as these have been notated in the initial inspection. The purpose of the monthly inspection is to identify those areas that need repair. This provides the owner with a snapshot of current conditions and also lets us know if the pond is permittable. The permit requires that the pond is inspected monthly and that a Texas-licensed P.E. (Professional Engineer) signs and seals an attestation of the functionality of the pond annually. We never ask our engineers to sign/seal anything that isn’t permissible. The monthly inspections give us plenty of time to make suggestions and corrections to the pond as necessary to comply with the permit. But this is at the owner’s discretion. So don’t be surprised to find the issues unresolved from month to month. We are hired to provide the facts, whether good or bad. Ultimately it is up to the customer to comply. #stormwater #civilengineering #stormwaterprofessionalsgroup #texas #detentionpond #propertymanagement
