It's September, which means our 11 Days of Service initiative is underway. This program is now in its 12th year, and it's always so special to be able to give back to our community. In the first few days, Red Bull players and front office staff have visited pediatric patients at Hospital for Special Surgery, volunteered at GRACE Food Pantry, packed and delivered backpacks for Harrison Public Schools students with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, and partnered with the Stache Foundation to give free back-to-school haircuts to local kids. We have volunteer opportunities planned throughout next week, culminating in a visit from RBNY players and staff to the Harrison Fire Department on September 11 to serve lunch and spend time with Harrison Fire and Police Departments.

We're proud to announce the hiring of Scott Epstein as our new Head of Corporate Partnerships. In his role, Epstein will oversee all partnership opportunities for both the club and Red Bull Arena. Introducing the newest member of the New York Red Bulls family: REDD. REDD made his grand entrance this past Saturday in a pregame spectacle on Marvel Night, running out from the South Ward with our Supporters and a special tifo at his back. He was welcomed by many of his new mascot friends, including pro and collegiate icons like Mr. and Mrs. Met, Sparky the Dragon, and the Scarlet Knight — not to mention the thousands of cheering RBNY fans who packed Red Bull Arena. REDD's energy was infectious from the first minute. With the crowd still buzzing, Lewis Morgan netted an early goal and the boys were off to the races, defeating reigning Supporters Shield champions FC Cincinnati, 3-1. Now entering Leagues Cup, the Red Bulls are the only remaining team in Major League Soccer unbeaten at home this season, and our fortress just got a whole lot more daunting. We're proud to announce the hiring of Chris Moseley as our new Head of Medical and the promotion of Sam Goldberg to Head of Player Personnel. Chris recently served as Head Physiotherapist at Middlesbrough FC for over a decade, and will oversee the medical strategy for Red Bull New York and will help with the development of our First and Second team players' respective medical plans. Sam joined the club in 2021 and has served as Manager of Data Science & Analytics for the club. He leads the team’s strategic initiatives and long-term planning, while working with key stakeholders to incorporate an evidence-based framework into daily decision making. He will oversee the club’s salary budget, roster compliance and data strategy.
