When people ask me what I love about my job, I always say it is getting under the skin to understand what is required of me. I’ve recently been working with a company whose hiring over the last 18 months has not been going all that well, for one reason or another they just haven’t been able to find exactly what the business needs. This is causing them to spend a huge amount of time and money and it’s having a negative impact on the productivity of their team. We sat down and stripped the whole process right back. I started with some competitor and industry research and we could then completely re-develop their hiring process. We made this more relevant to their companies’ objectives, much more streamlined in terms of time for the organisation and also prospective employees, and we also made it fun for everyone involved.
