Soft Mount every day and twice on Sunday. Yes, they're more expensive. But you get what you pay for. What Soft Mount washers can do is save you money on utilities. Which is a major expense in any laundry, so saving money is good. I know some use less water, I can't speak to all. They use less electricity/gas/steam to dry as they spin so much faster than a hard mount, that they extract so much more water. With the water gone, they dry much more quickly. If you have a laundromat and want to change out the most used machines, to even out usage with a same footprint, you can do that with a soft mount. Plus, I know Continental-Girbau has a system for Express Laundry centers where people can wash, dry, and fold in less than an hour. It seems we're all short on time now so that's huge! The reason soft mounts cost more and are worth it is the addition of internal shock-absorbers. These also add to the weight of the machines, so freight can be more as well. This controls the movement of the spin instead of being mounted in thick concrete. It's been a while since I've been out of the business of selling these beautiful machines, but back then they had about 3 times the G-Force on extraction than the hard mounts did.

Id appreciate any feed back on starting a laundry business. It would consist of scheduling appointments to pick up laundry for people. Then taking it to a facility to wash, dry, fold, hand, and steam clean laundry. With the customers choice of detergents, whether it be scented or non-scented detergents. Then return the laundry to the same place it was picked up. So, nobody has to worry about their laundry anymore because I will have it all covered. This includes blankets, curtains, rugs, etc. How does that sound?
