As someone who has been working in social for over a decade, damn. A huge part of my job is knowing what's happening on current and emerging platforms. So let's build the T on a platform that I've been geeking on for the past year. And when I say spill the tea, I quite literally mean spill. Spill is a social platform that was founded by expert app employees, and it was specifically designed to create a safe space online for Black, POC, and queer creators. And because your girl stays tapped in. I actually got to interview one of the founders at Adweek Social Media Week a couple of months ago now. I've been growing my brand weed for Black women on the platform and let me just say, it is so nice to talk about the plant that I love with the people I love without being attacked online. I love the taste of freedom. This one has a little sweetness to it. But all that to say, Spill is releasing a new feature on the platform called Spades by Spill, which I cannot wait to try. And yes, that literally means you can play Spades with your friends on Spill. And of course, if you're anything like me and you don't actually know how to play Spades, you can play in practice mode so you can stay ready. So you ain't got to get ready now. This is more of a content nerd feature, but you can also now post your photos and videos and a four or five aspect ratio, which means you know people them can see all of your content for all its glory. Take it from a pro. The larger your content is on screen, the more likely it is to be engaged with. And I'd just like to call that busting your content wide open. You're welcome. Creating is all about exploration, especially in the spaces that you may not be familiar with. So if you feel creatively inclined or inspired, definitely check out spill.
