Ive-gotta-have-this(itis)... or better know as desperation. This is a silent killer in sales. What is the number #1 cure? Pipeline. That's it. Pipeline is the number 1 thing that keeps you from becoming too desperate for a deal. So if you find yourself: - Pushing too hard - Nervous in your pitch - Coming across as desperate - Panicking at bad news or no news Take a step back and focus on building pipeline. It is amazing how 2x or 3x'ing your pipeline can alleviate the stress of losing a single deal. When was the last time you felt the like you couldn't lose a deal? It wasn't too far in the past for me...
