Ask way too many questions and stay curious about all aspects of your role, or others you may think you’d be interested in.  ⛳ Fun Fact: I liked this photo because it is one of the only pictures I’ve taken of myself golfing and it happens to be at my favorite course. This week I worked a total of 3 hours on Tuesday and Thursday. During my internship at Maverick Chocolate this week I learned more skills relating to my entrepreneurship course, as well as skills that I can use to help out at on-site. To start helping the business in more ways I learned how to de-mold the chocolate bars to prepare them for packaging. By doing this I was able to help get all of the prepared Ruya and Prohibition bars de-molded and ready for packaging. Relating to the current topics of the course I had the opportunity to discuss revenue models with Mr. Picton. I learned of the purpose of forecasting revenue/profits as well as how they effect the process of planning for the future of the business. What I can takeaway from this week is that by having the statistics necessary to forecast a revenue one can plan on how they will develop. I can apply this to my current and future endeavors by adapting my plans based on the data that I gain through my development. #TheBusinessLaunchExperience @TheLaunchBusinessExperience

🌟 Maximizing My Internship Experience at Ross🌟 I’m thrilled to share how my internship at Ross is helping me develop valuable skills on the sales floor. One of my key responsibilities involves gathering clothes from the fitting rooms and returning them to their rightful places on the sales floor, as well as managing returned items from the registers. This task is more than just a routine; it’s a crucial part of enhancing my understanding of the store layout and inventory management. By organizing and restocking items, I'm becoming more familiar with where everything is located, which greatly improves my ability to assist customers effectively. Through this experience, I’m honing my skills in: •Store Layout Mastery:Getting to know where different products are situated helps me quickly direct customers to what they need. •Customer Service:Being on top of returned items and ensuring the sales floor is well-organized allows me to provide a better shopping experience. •Efficiency and Attention to Detail: Ensuring items are returned to their proper places helps maintain a neat and accessible store environment. It was during my first internship at Snackible, where I learnt about my passion. Snackible was a budding venture in the world of healthy snacking when I joined them as a Business Development Associate intern.  Over the course of six months, I had the incredible opportunity to immerse myself in the art of client acquisition and retention.  My role involved convincing clients to try Snackible's products and purchase their assorted hampers.  Little did I know that I would be working with renowned brands there, securing orders for 200-400 hampers filled with nutritious snacks for their employees or festive occasions.  It was an incredible experience to witness the positive impact of our offerings on the well-being of these corporate communities.Beyond just sales, I gained invaluable insights into the importance of exceptional customer service.  From onboarding clients to managing their needs and delivering a seamless experience, I learned the intricacies of cultivating long-lasting relationships with consumers. Snackible taught me the fundamentals of business development, instilling in me an appreciation for the food industry that has only grown stronger over time.  It was during this internship that I discovered my true passion for the world of food and the impact it can have on people's lives. Although I have since pursued other internships with companies like McCain, my experience at Snackible remains the most cherished and formative of them all. It was here that I learned the art of client acquisition, the value of customer service, and the joy of working in an industry that nourishes both body and soul.
