And #no #water." - funding support favors Western European, developed countries and Israel - the most funded domains seem to be health, decarbonization through capturing CO2 from air, "quantum-like" technologies - there is absolutely no understanding of technological layers, i.e. you should not fund a project of Mars bacteria cultivation before funding life support systems and advanced rocketry - strategy is all over the place, priorities are set arbitrarily by a group of people with wildly various backgrounds, creating a compromise solution - 68 companies is not enough - there is no scoring system for objectively deciding about which innovation is better, closer to reality, basic / advanced research and usefulness of the financing scheme for the particular case. Imagine building a fusion reactor requiring decades of R&D and trillions of dollars. - not a single project addresses water, albeit water is a strategic resource for all other industries and human life. Could it be, that all innovations in water sector have been already brought to market, or is there no priority? Water pollution effects on human health anyone? #nowaterchallenge #lifeiswater

Between 2023 and 2024, national innovation performance increased for 15 member states, while it decreased for another group of 11. In the global context, the EU maintains a robust position, showing strong performance in many indicators, including SMEs introducing product and process innovations and environment-related technologies. However, the EU still faces #challenges compared to its main global competitors in areas such as intellectual assets, collaboration between innovative SMEs and R&D expenditure in the private sector. In Brazil the term solidary economy ( or incubutors of solidary economy) is deplaced to inovation. The first is close of the associative process in which the communties is protagonist. The second, is focused in offices that do intermediation between local communities and global actors, that conect the capital with the local economies. This new process emerge a new model of territorial development ( before endogenous) now global. Come here know more to understand the future of the bio-development in the new model of territorial managament global, where the socio bio-diversity drive the market. In this new model, each plant, fungi, fish, microorganisms, molecules, will be capitalized, and will give possibilities of the economies do superation the Era of commodities. To survive the economies will need conservate the ecosystems and the ancestral knowledge on its, bringing us even closer to ethnoconservation model, where local knowledge is the spark of development.
