I help insurance companies in the UK/Europe and the US, navigate the complexities of business growth by introducing industry experienced insurance professionals in both permanent and contract roles
Let's talk talent in the insurance industry... Talent acquisition and retention have reached a crisis point, with the number of unfilled jobs reaching an all-time high 📈 Human capital has been the driving force behind insurance companies for years and is quickly becoming a scarce commodity in the current market. In 2022 alone, the number of insurance industry vacancies increased by a staggering 74% year-on-year 😯 The number of insurance broker vacancies increased by 121.6%, demonstrating a rapid increase in the need for specialist talent in the industry. I don't think I'm alone when I say there has never been a more important time for businesses to engage specialists to find the best talent. #Insurance #InsuranceIndustry #InsuranceJobs #InsuranceRecruitment #UKInsurance #UKInsuranceIndustry #InsuranceProfessionals #Hiring Source: https://lnkd.in/dzvsQ4AB

In October last year I posted a comment on the “marked increase in vacancies being received on interim roles”. I want to expand on the previous post and reach out to my client contacts, whom I’ve sourced candidates for in response to their insurance and risk roles-(insurable risk or broader risk management/ERM positions). Hiring a temporary worker can vary be it, on a daily rate or FTCs spanning 6 to 12 months (in some instances it can be longer than 12 months)”. There is also an increasing demand for part time resource, typically 3 or 4 days a week. These arrangements bring with it increased flexibility on both sides- clients and candidates. Ultimately, the intent is solving a need, which can be both planned, but sometimes, arising from an unexpected event, necessitating a quick fix, with the preference for a candidate who is immediately available. I would like to alert my clients to the availability of well qualified individuals who wish to be considered for “in house” roles, offering this type of heightened flexibility. Over the last few months I have been concentrating on increasing the numbers in this particular talent pool. I am confident that candidates can be identified to fill temporary vacancies, from junior roles to senior ones which may require a strategic input, possibly focussing on the renewal of a complex insurance programme. Please feel able to contact me if you wish to discuss any requirements for hiring on an interim/temporary basis. 📧 [email protected] 📞 020 7481 8111

The insurance industry is facing a significant staffing challenge, with a projected loss of 400,000 workers in the U.S. by 2026. Traditional temp agencies often fall short in providing the necessary skills and expertise. Insurance BPO services, however, offer a robust solution by supplying dedicated experts who integrate seamlessly into operations, ensuring smooth, efficient processes. Insurance outsourcing consultants like Covenir offer flexibility, scalability, and cost efficiency. They enable insurers to focus on core competencies, expand market reach, and improve service quality without the long-term commitment of permanent hires.
