Exciting news for Kava enthusiasts! Banned in Australia prior to 2021, Kava is now accessible to the Australian public. With strict criteria ensuring quality and purity, brands like Vanuatu Noble are leading the way. Jacqui from Vanuatu Noble shares how innovation and differentiation have driven their success in this booming market. Dive in to learn more about how Vanuatu Noble Kava is having a remarkable impact on the market. With strict labelling and packaging requirements for their 100% Certified Pure Noble Kava, the Kava products were initially imported and packed in bags from the grower and manufacturer, then re-labelled to meet the requirements for sale in Australia. Previously, the packages were imported already packaged from their certified suppliers, although the volume was large and often too bulky for many to purchase. By introducing QLM Flexibles stand-up pouches, Vanuatu Noble was able to import in bulk, safely re-package in an Australian HACCP certified facility, and supply the market with products in more practical volumes. By eliminating the tedious process of re-labelling the product and introducing fully branded, retail-ready stand up pouches, the brand is seeing great success in the market, and we look forward to seeing the popularity of Vanuatu Noble Kava grow. #StandUpPouch #PackagingDesign #FoodPackaging #ImportedFoodProducts #PackagingInnovation #FlexiblePackaging https://lnkd.in/gYfXa2JN

🌍 Exciting News! 🌍 We’re proud to announce the export of our Double Paddle Mixer LAKIDIS PL300L to Romania! 🇷🇴 🔧 Engineered for precision and efficiency, the PL300L is built to deliver top-quality mixing for the food industry, ensuring consistent results and superior performance for salami and sausage production. Industrial salami mixing offers numerous advantages, particularly in terms of consistency, large-scale production, and cost efficiency. Industrial mixers ensure that ingredients such as meat, fat, spices, and bacterial cultures are evenly distributed throughout the batch, leading to uniform flavor, texture, and quality across large volumes of salami. This consistency is crucial for meeting consumer expectations and maintaining product standards. The ability to produce large quantities in a shorter time is another key benefit. Industrial mixing equipment, combined with automated systems, speeds up the entire process—from mixing and stuffing to fermenting and curing. This allows manufacturers to meet the high demands of commercial markets and large distributors, significantly increasing production output while shortening production cycles for faster distribution. In terms of cost efficiency, large-scale production allows for economies of scale. Processing vast amounts of meat at once, along with bulk purchasing of raw materials and automation, helps reduce overall production costs. Furthermore, automation reduces the reliance on manual labor, lowering labor costs as machines take over the more physically demanding tasks of mixing, stuffing, and curing. This streamlined approach not only saves money but also improves operational efficiency across the board. We’re thrilled to see our technology in action, helping businesses in Romania achieve excellence! ✨ Check PL300L here: https://hubs.la/Q02PYhXT0 Or contact us to ✉️[email protected] ☎️+30 2310 722 367 #Lakidis #DoublePaddleMixer #PL300L #ExportSuccess #Romania #FoodIndustry #mixing #foodfactory #LakidisMachinery #salami #mixer #foodprocessing #sausage

Ostrich endeavors to ensure Yoshinoya can meet the demand for meat TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Major Japanese fast-food chain operator YOSHINOYA Holdings Co. is hoping the introduction of #ostrich #meat will help it overcome shortages that have affected the availability of its popular beef bowls. In late August, it made some 60,000 servings of ostrich meat rice bowls available at around 400 outlets in Japan at 1,683 yen ($12) each, making the flightless bird its fourth meat option with supplies of beef, pork, and chicken coming under pressure. To secure more ostrich meat in the future, Yoshinoya said it will first raise the necessary funds through the expansion of ostrich-derived skincare products developed by its wholly-owned subsidiary Speedia Co. Speedia currently maintains a flock of 500 ostriches at a farm in Ibaraki Prefecture, northeast of Tokyo, as part of its broader ostrich business, including research and product development. Its cosmetics products are available on the company's official website, as well as via other online retailers and drugstore chains. Data have shown that oil extracted from ostriches enhances the absorption of beauty ingredients into people's skin, Yoshinoya said. According to the company, ostriches are relatively cost-effective to farm compared to other animals and have less of a negative impact on the environment. "Yoshinoya's operations have always been affected by the situation surrounding beef. To grow our business while protecting #beef bowl operations, we need to diversify to reduce risk," Yoshinoya President Yasutaka Kawamura said at a press conference in August. https://lnkd.in/dvBfYbMk #poultryindustry #meatindustry

Hey LinkedIn, I started my coffee journey with a company that I'm not proud of. Yes, it's the company featured in the article below. The world of coffee is far from perfect and is still blighted with companies who simply don't give enough of a dam about the needs of the producer. As we continue to advocate for a more equitable supply chain, it is imperative to remember that the lives and well-being of producers are just as important as profit margins. The recent response of "NO" following demonstrations in Mexico for an increase in the price per kg the producers are paid for the Robusta coffee they are growing and processing is simply unacceptable. This type of exploitation is not only unjust but also unsustainable in the long run. Check out this article for more information on the issue: https://lnkd.in/eCxxG87B #Reversetrade #equity #exploitation #Playfair
