Turning on the Lights: AI for Women in Leadership 💡✨ As I reflect on the insightful discussions from last year’s Uzemi Leadership Summit, I’m reminded of the profound impact of inclusion in driving innovation and progress. This year, under the theme Leading with AI: Women Pioneering Tomorrow's Technology, we have the opportunity to explore how AI can serve as an onboarding tool for women everywhere. 🌍🚀 Women represent 50% of the world’s population, yet their contributions in various fields are often underrepresented. 🤔💪 AI is a key that can help unlock access to knowledge, skills, and tools that empower women to thrive. This is not about a competition between women and men; rather, it’s about “turning on the lights” 💡 so that we can all benefit from the unique perspectives and talents that women bring to the table. 🤝🌟 By leveraging AI, we can facilitate learning and development, ensuring that women are equipped to participate fully in the critical building blocks of world affairs. 🏗️🌐 It’s about creating an environment where everyone can shine and contribute to our collective future. 🌈 Let’s embrace this journey together, harnessing the power of technology to uplift each other. When we support women in their pursuit of knowledge and empowerment, we all thrive! 🌻🙌 See you at the summit! On this International Women's Day, I'm thrilled to share some incredible news! I am honored to join Ruffday's Leadership Mandala as a Founding Mentor. Ruffday has launched a two-prong transformative mentorship program to fill a much-needed gap in Customer Success/Customer Experience Professionals and Leaders: 🕸️ Leadership Mandala - for managers that need a guiding expert community, sounding board, and specific actions to help address key issues to progress in leadership positions. Our approach is through community mentoring and case studies rather than social media noise, making it perfect for introverts too! 👣 Self-paced mentorship - for driven CS beginners that need affordable guidance (at the price of just 2 coffees/month ☕!) Even though the programs are for anyone, these issues often disproportionately impact underrepresented communities due to a lack of networks, opportunities, mentorship, and guidance. Ruffday's mission is to increase global accessibility to mentorship and elevate diverse leaders across various backgrounds and industries. 💚 I'm excited to support the vision of its female founder Bhumika Arora and collaborate with a group of Founding Mentors, the majority of whom are remarkable women, and of course, those who uplift women. Ashna Patel Emma Lo 🧩 Rohan ShethJessica Jeffries Lana Wear Lara Javalyn Mila Suthakar Bhumika Arora Ruffday I firmly believe that mentorship is a powerful tool for driving positive change and fostering inclusive leadership cultures. Through self-realization, focused skill enhancement, and addressing challenges such as identifying transferable skills and bridging skill gaps, mentorship can significantly accelerate career transitions and growth. By joining Ruffday's Leadership Mandala, I'm eager to contribute to creating a supportive community where individuals from diverse backgrounds can thrive, excel, and inspire others through actual problem-solving and scenario-planning techniques. Want to join our community to elevate your CS/CX game? Learn how in the comments. Happy International Women's Day to all! #IWD2024 #CustomerSuccess #Mentorship #Empowerment #LeadershipDevelopment #RuffdayLeadershipMandala #Ruffday

Chief Soil Scientist I V60 Award - Women Leading Climate & Sustainability l The 200 Global Power Women Leader 2024
Wonderful event on September 12, 2024! Grateful for a job I love, leading to receiving the Global Power Women 2024 award. The event was a powerful reminder of the distinction between managing and leading, and I was truly inspired by the incredible leaders I had the opportunity to meet. It was especially meaningful to connect with a Thai leader Panchalee Weeratammawat, which made me proud of our shared recognition on the global stage. One highlight was meeting Lucia Loyo, whose innovative use of AI is transforming children's education with personalized learning tools. I was also moved by Avinash Ananda, whose quick exercise demonstrated how even small changes can lead to big transformations and the value of introducing something new. Thank you to the #whitepageinternational team for nominating me as one of the 200 Global Power Women 2024 and for flawlessly organizing this unforgettable event on September 12, 2024. I am deeply grateful to my incredible #saudidesertcontrol team for their unwavering support, and to everyone who shared kind words during the event. I’m glad that my message resonated with many, reminding us of the responsibility leaders bear in choosing wisely to create a better future for our children. I learn that "Leadership knows no gender" men and women may lead differently, but we learn from one another in those differences. By embracing empathy, communication, and balance between work and life, we become better leaders for our teams and organizations. Let’s collaborate to sustain the future and move beyond the concept of greenwashing. Together, we can ensure that our actions truly lead to lasting impact and positive change. #sustainability #saudidesertcontrol #desertcontrol #Leadership #innovation #ksa

“‘God, if I brought in an expert to help me, then I’d realize how little I know about the subject.’ Big deal. You can’t know everything about everything. Bring in the expert. Let them coach you. [...] I honestly believe that getting the experts in, sitting down one-on-one, and learning everything there is to learn is a good thing.” Excellent advice from Indra Nooyi, former CEO of PepsiCo, on how to strategically harness expertise: https://mck.co/4eaQxPP #continuouslearning #ceo #personaldevelopment

Meet Olha Paramonova, our amazing VP at Sigma Software Group! Olha is all about resilience and adaptability in the tech world. Coming from a background in International Economics, she bravely took on the challenge of mastering engineering. It wasn't easy, but through years of learning, hands-on testing, and asking tough questions, she found her confidence in a primarily male-dominated field. Olha is passionate about creating a place where everyone can thrive. She makes sure there are equal opportunities within her leadership team and shares her journey as a speaker, hoping to inspire other women in tech. She's also a big advocate for better support for women balancing family and career, believing that companies can really make a difference here. Olha values the company's commitment to long-term career growth and sees her journey here as a lifelong adventure. She advises aspiring women leaders: "Every role is a leadership role. Leadership comes from within and shows through excellence in any area of life." Olha is driven by her team, clients, and commitments, striving to be the mentor she once wished for herself. One of her favorite books is 'Your Erroneous Zones' by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, which has helped her overcome many challenges. She also highlights the importance of regular workouts, taking needed breaks, and cutting out what's no longer beneficial for success in life and work. Olha's journey is truly inspiring, and we're happy to have her on our team! #Femmegineering #WomenInTech #WorkLifeBalance #SigmaSoftware #Leadership

𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 Dr. Barbara Kellerman (Harvard Kennedy School: https://lnkd.in/eaqYdusg) warns of bad leadership in her book, "𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲." We can all identify and address it early on. 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴𝘀: 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘃𝘀. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀: Great leaders inspire, not overpromise. Beware of saviors with all the answers. 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: Look at their track record. Are there patterns of bad decisions or a lack of accountability? 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: Diverse voices and expertise are vital. Are they surrounded by "yes men"? 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: Leaders out of touch are a recipe for trouble. 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆: What truly matters to them? Do their actions align with their stated values? 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Dr. Kellerman emphasizes speaking up against bad leadership, including team members, supporters, and even the public. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗪𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 (𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗪𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻'𝘁): Fear of repercussions is common, but intervening early is like responding to a flickering yellow light – it can prevent a bigger accident. Meet Valeriya Zakharenkova🇺🇦, International Projects and Partnerships Manager at Sigma Software Group. Her decade-long journey with the company is a testament to growth, balance, and inspiration. From day one, Valeriya was inspired by seeing women in high management roles. "Women can be designers, IT managers, or directors; they can make deals and still be women." This vision fueled her ambition and shattered old stereotypes. Sigma Software's commitment to work-life balance has been crucial. "Open dialogues with the team and managers, transparent relations at all levels, and humanity are the main pillars. I can always address my issues without fear of judgment." Her motivation comes from colleagues, curiosity, and the joy in the process. She recommends Janet Klosko's "Reinventing Your Life" and Tara Schuster's "Buy Yourself the F*cking Lilies" for inspiration. Valeriya's story highlights the supportive environment at Sigma Software, where women can thrive and lead. #Femmegineering #WomenInTech #Leadership #SigmaSoftware #WorkLifeBalance #ProfessionalGrowth #Empowerment

Founded By Jaspreet Kaur, A Fast Growing Networking Club for Senior Professionals and Business Owners | Once-a-month High-End Meetups | Exclusive activities at Premium Venues
‘The Minerva’s Transformation : A New Chapter of Inclusion’ 🙌 Minerva, like many organizations, recently went through a big change. It wasn't about growing too fast; we realized our main mission wasn't as connected with our community as it should be. We moved away from showing how a community of women achievers can make a big difference with their leadership and inspire others. As the founder, my initial ideas were sparked by a strong passion that also motivated others. However, I learned that passion alone doesn't guarantee lasting success; a solid foundation is necessary. 📌 The key elements included: - Having people who effortlessly align with Minerva’s mission to inspire and support others through leadership. - Attracting those drawn to a sense of community and belonging. - Welcoming members who share our values and beliefs, without needing to be convinced through a sales pitch. - Creating a space focused on mutual growth and respect, beyond just work or networking. Recently, Minerva has extended its membership to include men, and I am privileged to know some truly remarkable people. Their kindness and ability to inspire others with their success is motivating. Knowing I can count on them, I've personally invited them to join a community aimed at inspiring and supporting each other. I dream of a community that keeps growing with like-minded individuals. Together, our experiences help us create a solid foundation and a culture that keeps our original vision alive and strong✨ #vision #likedmindedpeople #growthmindset #membershipclub #socialnetworking
