2600 people in Australia are diagnosed with Bowel Cancer before the age of 50. The signs are hard to detect, which leads to late diagnosis in so many under 50’s (like my mum @ 36). Some of the signs: - bleeding/blood when you poo - a change in your toilet habits. You might be going more or less often, or have diarrhoea or constipation that might come and go. - losing weight but you're not sure why. - feeling very tired all the time but you're not sure why. - a pain or lump in your tummy Go get a colonoscopy if you are 1% worried! It appears my comment was deleted twice from the below post - so thought I'd share it here. Venue owners should listen as well as amplify; that's how we improve, take stock and evolve. The comment: The gig was great - no doubt. Foo's rocked! 🤘🎆 But there was a severe lack of operational efficiency at the gig venue. Examples: The bars were the worst I've experienced - no hyperbole. This is 2024, but multiple 40+ people queues across the stadium, concourses and on the pitch/standing area with dithering staff and stock issues. Then, the grim sight of single-use plastic cups covering the stadium floor (and I'm sure, the stadia seats) - fans kicking through rivers of clear plastic cups to get to exit points. Again, this is 2024 and there are many other sustainable options. Then the misery and danger of trying to get back to Stratford station from the stadium. If you missed the end of the gig, you might have stood a chance. If you stayed to the end like we did, it was a 2-hour kettling-session with little security and no policing. Appalling and at many times dangerous. I appreciate the hubris Graham Gilmore, but your team would benefit from an overhaul in operational efficiency. In almost 25 years of producing global events this was one of the worst operations I've witnessed as a fan. I'd be v happy to talk about solutions or strategic tactics over a cuppa if you do plan for London Stadium to hit London 2012 heights again, and be heralded for operational excellence as a viable international venue on the global circuit. Cant blame ya, T! I did the sammmmmeeee thing. Secured the bag and shortly thereafter made a huge announcement to the world with my baby boy. The feeling of your firstborn is indescribable. Kind of like the reaction my wife and I had when I got a product hit out of a case with this 2021 National Treasures Trevor Lawrence 1 of 1 RPA 🤑 We're over here like,"...soooo...baby #2?!" 🤣 (For those of you who are either just catching on, or haven't quite paid attention yet...yes...the collectibles market has seen significant uptick in recent years. We saw a spike around 2008/2009...and then a "Covid Era" growth rate unparalleled by majority of asset driven industries. Once a childhood hobby, sports cards have become a necessary commodity in many investor's portfolios.) The card depicted in this post came out of a case of one of Panini 3 most upper echelon NBA/NFL licenced products, National Treasures FOTL (First Off the Line). At the time I bought in (close to, if not on, product release day) these cases were selling to the consumer market at premium rates of $28,000 and higher per 4 box case. Each box contains 8 cards, making a case only 32 cards in total. National Treasures boasts a significant portion of the top 10 most valuable cards ever sold. SPECIFICALLY, the hunt surrounds the infamous "Logoman" & "True" RPA (rookie patch autographs). With every card being serial numbered 1 to 99, there a limited cases released each year. 2021 saw a significant demand with 6 or so starting QBs being drafted first round. Some panned out and others have some work to do. In the hobby space, we call the process of determining which will be which early on "prospecting". Some of the names from that class include Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Mac Jones, Justin Fields, Ja'marr Chase, and many others. To no surprise, similar to athlete salaries, in NFL products you are soecifically chasing top QBs and T Law proved himself to be the top of his draft class. Another well recognized sales comp from the same product was Trevor Lawrence's NFL Shield 1 of 1 that sold for $336,000 by Goldin in August of 2022. Ken Goldin is far from a stranger to being behind some of the highest sales in sports collectibles and was nominated for an Emmy for his Netflix Series "King of Collectibles". Season 2 out now. 🫡 ⚠️📈📊STAY TUNED: Frank DiNote (the man in charge of private sales at Goldin) and I have been working on something for quite some time now that will be big news for TCA. As soon as semantics are ironed out...you MIGHT just see one of those before mentioned "Logoman" cards hit their premier auction soon. 🤫🤫🤫

In honor of March Madness, I wanted to express exactly what the sport of basketball has done for not only my kids but also for me as a spectator. Sixteen years of soccer made me an athlete, but I had no idea what to expect when my kids laced up their shoes and stepped onto that court. The game of basketball took hold of me almost immediately; the pace, the excitement, and the absolutely mind-blowing athleticism! If my team isn't playing, I'll watch anyone who is. That is the kind of fan I am. So, what does this have to do with appraising? If you take your joy and compare it side by side with just about anything, you will find similarities, strategies, and eventually the sought-after triumph. My role is to make our team successful, to train them properly, have a concrete game plan, and, as much as possible, come away with a win. And in the event that victory is not attainable, we watch and review life's film and try again!
