2wI want to give a report regarding the failure of refund processing by Qatar Airways I have been waiting for a refund from Qatar Airways for over a year. The refund request was made on May 1, 2023, for a flight from Tehran, Iran, to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Despite assurances from Qatar Airways agency that the refund was processed and credited on May 10, 2023, the amount has not been received. Details: Booking Reference: LCT398 Refund Amount: 75,101,327 IRR Initial Request Date: May 1, 2023 Supposed Refund Processing Date: May 10, 2023 Actions Taken: Multiple follow-ups with Qatar Airways and my bank. Conflicting information received from Qatar Airways regarding the payment status. My bank account turnover confirmation was provided for the specified timeframe. Despite the agency's claim that the payment has been released, they have refused to provide any documentation confirming the refund. Next Steps: Due to the prolonged delay and unresolved status of the refund, “legal action against Qatar Airways” is being considered to resolve this matter. The ongoing failure to refund the money after more than a year necessitates immediate legal intervention to ensure the resolution of this issue.
