i am a Director of Sales in a company which produces and sells optical fiber cables and other derivatives such as such as FTTH drop-in optical cables, type 8 optical cables, etc.
🤗 The structure of GYXTW optical cable is to insert 250µm optical fiber into a loose tube made of high modulus material, and the loose tube is filled with waterproof compound. The loose tube is wrapped longitudinally with a layer of double-sided plastic-coated steel tape (PSP). Water-blocking material is added between the steel tape and the loose tube to ensure the compactness and longitudinal water blocking of the optical cable. Two parallel steel wires are placed on both sides and then the polyester is extruded.
