This Global Media and Information Literacy Week, the FEU Public Policy Center (FPPC) reaffirms its commitment to fostering an informed and engaged citizenry. In an era where information flows rapidly, the ability to critically evaluate sources and understand media's role in society is essential for active and responsible citizenship. Through our civic education initiatives with our partners from different sectors, we empower citizens and communities to navigate the digital landscape thoughtfully, make evidence-based decisions, and contribute positively to democratic discourse. The FPPC is one of over 120 organizations that comprise the #FactsFirstPH initiative. We came together to fight disinformation in public spaces. In our struggle to promote the truth, we work within four layers: fact-checking, amplification, research, and deterrence. The FPPC is one of the institutions that contributes to the #FactsFirstPH research layer.

We strongly believe that learning is a lifelong process - be it about accessibility, inclusion or business. As the lack of accessibility information is indeed a global issue, our team is working hard to enlarge Access4you’s list of locations with certified and detailed accessibility information across borders while growing the Access4you accredited partner network globally as well. To deepen our business knowledge, Balázs Berecz - Founder & CEO; Andrea Szilágyi - International Brand Manager; and Denis Uracs - Business Development Lead, attended a course by STRT Holding Nyrt. at Óbudai Egyetem - University Óbuda! Thank you very much for the opportunity to gain new insights and inspiration and for providing us with an accessible location to visit! #Accessibility #Inclusion #Learning #Insights #InternationalBusiness #Access4you [ID: A collage of two images, each showing Balázs Berecz, Andrea Szilágyi and Denis Uracs at the STRT course. The upper image is a selfie taken by Denis, showing a black rollup in which text reads 'STRT Rising Together', with Balázs and Andi posing before it. The picture below is taken from the three again, standing in front of a blue popup wall on which text says 'Óbudai Egyetem, Óbuda University, TEHETSÉG, SIKER, KÖZÖSSÉG'. In the lower right corner we see Access4you's logo in a blue half-circle with white outline.]

Are you familiar with InterProFinland? We've been hosting many webinars covering various topics under the project Degree Amplify. Our webinars have been very informative and beneficial, drawing a larger audience. Degree AMPLIFY is a yearly project of InterProFinland ry that focuses on helping international professionals in regulated professions to understand the process better of recognition of their foreign degrees and guide them through the application process step by step. Here’s what some of our participants are saying from the Degree Amplify project tailored for Psychologists/Psychotherapists which is in collaboration with Psychological Practitioners Finland ry; “The webinar was good, very informative, and mostly I loved that I could connect with people from the same field who are also in the process of applying for their licence. It has been a struggle for me to understand the process and I felt I was the only one. Thank you for this webinar.” “The webinar was excellent, extremely informative and exceeded my expectations. The information given by Annabel Battersby was extremely informative for my own personal purposes.” “I got to hear from people who have been/are going through the same process.” Share your thoughts in the comments if there's a specific webinar topic you'd be interested in. https://lnkd.in/e7GehAsF The emergence of youth as leaders in addressing global issues is a beacon of hope for our world. With climate change and unemployment presenting unprecedented challenges, particularly in regions like Africa, the involvement of young people is crucial. Their innovative ideas, energy, and resilience can drive sustainable solutions. Youth leadership not only brings fresh perspectives but also mobilizes communities towards collective action. By empowering young leaders, we can harness their potential to create lasting change, ensuring that our responses to these global issues are both effective and inclusive. Focusing on Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4), which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, is essential for marginalized communities. Education is a powerful tool that can lift individuals and communities out of poverty, providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to tackle issues such as climate change and unemployment. For marginalized people, especially those at the bottom line, access to quality education can be transformative. It opens doors to opportunities that were previously out of reach, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to society and the economy. Youth participation is key to achieving the 2030 UN goals. When young people are involved in decision-making processes, they bring a unique perspective that is often overlooked. Their engagement ensures that policies and initiatives are more relevant and effective. In Africa, where the youth population is significant, their active involvement can drive progress on multiple fronts. By focusing on education and empowering young leaders, we can accelerate the achievement of SDG 4 and other goals, ensuring a brighter and more sustainable future for all.
