You should be reaching out to relevant media and content creators pre-Next Fest, during Next Fest and even post-Next Fest (as long as your demo is still playable).
There are too many demos available during Next Fest, and it's only a week long. As long as your demo is available to play, you should be pitching it.
You only get one shot at Next Fest, so get the most out of every minute of it.

When I think of the qualities the most successful partnerships and collaborations are made of, Megan Adams and Legend Management Group possess them all.
🤔 Not all software launches are equal.
First, you need a solid product that is easy to use. But second, you need a client and partner who is willing to work with you in order to maximize the effectiveness and success of a launch.
As a marketer, I've launched numerous softwares across my portfolios over the years. But, I've also been a representative of the software being launched.
I've had a front row seat to hundreds of software launches with just as many property management professionals from many different organizations and here are just a few of the qualities I've seen from those on the operator side that can take a launch from good...to GREAT:
1. Alignment from day one: on timelines, goals, how success will be measured and how everyone will be held accountable throughout the process
2. Timely & consistent communication: From all parties, all the time. This is hard when we have a million priorities, but a commitment to this makes a big impact on the end result and makes things much easier on the end users. A little time and effort put in upfront can save a lot of headaches down the stretch (and your numbers and ROI will be better for it, too)
3. Mutual trust and reliability: trust and reliability are crucial when it comes to fulfilling commitments, for both parties. It also makes it easier to forgive one another when things don't go as planned (see #4 below). You know your org best, but your partners also have deep expertise they bring to the table as well - trust in that.
4. Forgiveness: We often buy a service or technology expecting things to go perfectly. And most of the time it does. But, things happen - on both 'sides'. When trust is earned and expanded on in the partnership over time, it makes it much easier for both sides to forgive when things go wrong (because they will and hopefully are small and fixable). No company, person nor product is perfect.
5. A commitment to relationship equality: Those who see their software and service partners as equals or an extension of their organization or brand know that they have a mutual responsibility in the relationship as well (see #1-#4 above) and approach things from a more collaborative mindset. They come to the table leaning in, versus with folded and closed-off arms or with the expectation that a launch is 100% the responsibility of the partner. They share information, data, vision and most importantly, feedback. They truly want the product and partnership to succeed.
