Here's a snapshot of the valuable insights she brought back: 1️⃣ The landscape surrounding CCP labels and Corresponding Adjustments for Article 6.2 credits is evolving rapidly, each addressing distinct market challenges. Ideally, CCPs and CAs should work together, with governments using CCPs to ensure credit integrity. However, it's vital to underscore that a CA only commits to adjusting NDCs. 2️⃣ As nations ramp up their #climate commitments, navigating project additionality amidst evolving regulations and incentives becomes increasingly intricate. Consequently, companies participating in the #VCM are expected to increase the share of removal credits in their portfolios. 3️⃣ Encouraging progress is underway in fostering interoperability among carbon-crediting programs, a pivotal step toward streamlining operations and operationalizing Article 6.2. 4️⃣ Addressing Scope 3 emissions gains traction, with "insetting" programs emerging as a promising avenue.
