Thank you, City TV for having me over yesterday to discuss some critical insights from our Roots & Wings study on your midday show with Melanie Ng, which highlighted the challenges and aspirations of BIPOC newcomer women in Canada. Securing the right job when moving to a new country is always one of the biggest challenges. In addition to that, dealing with feelings of isolation while familiarizing oneself with the new environment and making new friends can be quite daunting.
