I flew to Davos in -10° degree weather, just to meet a journalist. Sounds pretty crazy thinking about it. But we had a client story worth pitching. And sometimes, that's the kind of effort it takes. → Networking is hard work. → Landing top-tier features is hard work. → Getting in front of the right journalist is hard work. Most PR agencies send out an email blast and call it a day. But if you want results for your clients. You have to be willing to graft. The most qualified do not necessarily get attention in the world - but rather those who promote themselves or pay to have themselves promoted. It is a game and you must play it, in order to get ahead. These are just facts in the game of life. Wrote a book? You better promote it! Want to get on TV- better make those calls!
