Quality early learning and early childhood development (ECD) opportunities are essential for all children, especially children living in conflict and crisis. Sesame Workshop leveraged its expertise in children's media, and combined it with International Rescue Committee experience in humanitarian relief, to deliver on MacArthur Foundation's and #LEGOFoundations ambitious investments and share valuable and rigorous research findings on education in emergencies. The AU #CivicTechFund is a step closer to selecting its winners! The AU Civic Tech Fund #AUCTF2024 is a 12-month initiative which seeks to catalyse and scale innovative civic tech solutions that harness the power of technology to drive citizen-led transformative action across the African continent. Here's the selection process of the #AUCTF: ✔ the candidates who are preselected based on the eligibility criteria are forwarded to the selection committee ✔ the committee will review applications and vote for the top 15 applicants ✔ the selection committee then sends a recommendations report to the steering committee ✔ the steering committee will further evaluate, and a final decision on the grantees.  Stay tuned to get to know the winners of the selection!
