Our #SeedlingGiveaway event on Siksika Nation was a huge success with 34 amazing volunteers! We handed out over 1,100 Seedling Bags, each containing 5 trees - that's more than 5,500 seedlings now growing around the homes of Nation residents! 🌲🌳 The following day, Chief Old Sun School picked up four remaining seedling boxes with 360 Saskatoons and 260 Showy Mountain Ash, which students planted at the school. 🌿 A big thank you to our funding partners and volunteers for supporting the Project Forest Siksika Nation Community Shelterbelt Program! 💚 Learn more about the project here: https://lnkd.in/g5F7845U #Community #Volunteers #SiksikaNation #OneForestataTime Siksika Communications, Pembina Pipeline Corporation, Canadian Land Reclamation Association (CLRA/ACRSD) National, Nutrien, ATB Financial, Enverus, Alberta Ecotrust Foundation
