CEO & Co-Founder / Helping Advertisers Minimise Ad Wastage and Maximise ROAS using a Media Transformation Framework
I recently had the pleasure of attending the ProcureCon Europe Series Marketing conference in London for the first time, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. (Thank you Dorota Kazmierczak for your recommendation). This event provided an invaluable opportunity to reconnect with old friends and colleagues, finally meet prospects face-to-face, and get to know new faces within the Marketing Procurement community. One of the highlights was the chance to catch up with familiar faces, such as Esther Saboya (see picture), Maya, Stephen, Terry, Nick, Angelika, Paul, and Ben. Our conversations felt like a continuation of longstanding relationships, filled with camaraderie and shared experiences. It was equally rewarding to meet, for the first time in person, those I had previously only spoken to remotely, including Joe, Claus, Keith, Bruno, Laetitia, and Manlio. Meeting these individuals face-to-face solidified our professional connections and allowed for deeper, more meaningful discussions. The event also introduced me to a vibrant group of new people: Massimiliano, Giovanni, Nina, Céline, Robert, Tina, Oliver, Christian, Thomas, Game, Carolina, Yves, Iain, Carina, James, Sam, Lenka, Anne-Marie. Each conversation was enriching, offering fresh perspectives and insights into the evolving landscape of Marketing Procurement. The presentations were a treasure trove of knowledge, shedding light on the challenges and best practices within the Marketing Procurement function. The case studies and panel discussions were particularly enlightening, providing practical takeaways. A special mention goes to Indicia Worldwide for hosting the Networking drinks after Day 1. Their efforts in organising this event were evident, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that facilitated even more connections and conversations. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this well-organized and insightful conference. The human connections made over these past two days are a testament to the power of good relationships in fostering successful business partnerships. I look forward to attending ProcureCon Marketing again next year and continuing these wonderful interactions. Thank you to everyone who made this event memorable. Until next time! #ProcureConMarketing #Networking #MarketingProcurement #AbintusConsulting #BusinessRelationships #HumanConnections

Delivering highly targeted digital marketing campaigns that convert to quality leads through our Conversion Cloud Software.
To all of my fellow Apartmentalize Vendor Attendees: As a vendor and digital marketing professional, I understand the desire to schedule meetings, but bombarding prospects and other vendors with e-blasts isn't the solution. We all want to connect, but it's important to consider how our approach impacts our audience. Instead of overwhelming our inboxes, let's take the time to scrub the list and find more effective, personalized methods to engage. By doing so, we ensure our messages stand out rather than getting lost in the crowd. Let's strive for quality connections over quantity. Cheers to a successful conference for everyone!

Founder of brightonSEO - World's largest SEO conference & tradeshow and organiser of Hero Conf the biggest event in PPC and Paid Social Advertising.
How do people feel about matchmaking / hosted buyer programmes as part of conferences and exhibitions? If they're not something you've come across before, the idea is connecting attendees with like-minded individuals, industry experts, buyers, suppliers and other potential business partners at events. So it might be organising meetings between in-house teams and agencies, between heads of SEO agency side and sales people at SEO software and technology companies. It's not something we've ever really done but it is quite a common format in other industries.

As a vendor, there are so many ways to contribute to a community. * Share your trends and insights (you have access to best practices no one else can see). * Offer true 1:1 help (for example, a member posted about a vendor she might use and another customer who happened to be a vendor shared their experience and offered to discuss it 1:1) * Volunteer to host, be a guest, or manage a program for the members * Share resources and content that helps others, not just landing pages to your events Consider this: What if you took 10 minutes a day to altruistically participate in industry communities for 2 weeks? What would this do for your industry knowledge, relationships, and reputation?
Vendors in communities, take note: People notice if all you ever do is post links to webinars without engaging in any other way. People talk if you “slide into their DMs” as a result of conversations they have. Now, I’m not opposed to vendors in communities AND I don’t think you need to own your community. But here are some better ways to engage in industry communities: Read the channels. This is a hugely untapped source of voice of customer insight. What are people talking about? What are their challenges? How do they talk about things? Participate in live group discussions. Interact with people in real time. Make it a conversation, instead of a one-sided link drop. Elevate the voices of people in the community. Incorporate their insights into your content. Give them a chance to be in the spotlight, sharing their expertise. Notice how none of this is about you??? When all else fails, think of it like an in-person interaction: Would you pop your head into a room and say, “Hey everybody! Not joining the conversation, but just in case anyone was wondering, we’re hosting a live webinar this week!” Probably not. That would be weird. If you wouldn’t do it in-person, don’t do it digitally.

"Send an e-mail or fill out the Google form." I heard those sentences throughout the year when applying to different events as a coffee vendor. All right - I can do that, I thought. But then came weeks or months of waiting with no idea what was going to happen next. And then, at some random time, I got an e-mail (sometimes didn't) telling me if I was chosen for this particular event or not - and of course, I didn't know where our booth was placed. I realized that there are major flaws in the system. I called Toomas Peetso and that’s how Provente started. Today we're all about making vendor/exhibitor recruiting and management as seamless as possible for the event organizers. Today you can use Provente to: 👉 create/source a venue 👉 find and manage vendors 👉 communicate in one environment 👉 automate contracting Our freemium model is launching in a month - for you to try and play around with map creation a bit. It's quite fun. Stay tuned.🔥 --- I am Taniel and I help event organizers manage the chaos. Follow me to hear my journey.
