Scott Becker, Rhoda Weiss, PhD, and the Becker's Healthcare team led a phenomenal event with the CEO + CFO Roundtable. There were many takeaways and best practice solutions to shared problems to solve discussed across fireside chats, individual presentations, and panels. Many key themes and trends emerged. My favorite theme: 📌 Our patients, teams, and communities need us to work #together in new ways within and across organizations to improve access to care, prevent avoidable suffering, and create more value together than we could achieve alone. I loved hearing about the new ways different systems, organizations, and teams are working together to increase collective #value. One favorite detailed share I appreciated was the Providence California team based approach to starting up, scaling, and sustaining a successful Clinically Integrated Network across diverse Affiliated and Medical Group teams. Their key to success: aligned, purpose driven, patient-centered care #together. Just completed a fabulous webinar on lowering the political temperature and raising the critical awareness around DE&I strategic pillars. We all suffer from Unconscious Bias, and sometimes we’re either not prepared or educated enough to engage with others who look, talk or love differently, based on own insecurities or circles of influences. Embracing platforms that encourages Freedom of Opinions without fear of any recourse or judgement, allows a more balanced acceptance of different perspectives, races, ideas and genders.
