My Dad was treated with dignity and respect throughout. Sadly was for end-of-life care which was three weeks. I was able to be there until the end. It was reassuring that the end was very peaceful. Kindness and understanding was shown to myself and my family. Dad was discharged from hospital to Peaker Park, initially on Discharge to Assess. We quickly realised that this was the best place for his ongoing personal and care needs. The staff were always professional and caring, quickly building a strong bond with Dad. I always felt that they were focused on providing the best care for his needs. She is happy and well looked after and has built a bond with many of the care team during her time there. The leadership is very effective and the general operation and surroundings are comfortable, clean and safe. The gardens are well-maintained and provide a pleasant outdoor space. The team at Mill House are welcoming and have good rapport with family members and visitors. Communication concerning resident needs and care/health questions are dealt with promptly. I have witnessed genuine warmth from the team and observed respect and dignity for residents.
