😇 Honoring D-Day: A Day of Remembrance and Reflection. Today marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day, a pivotal moment in World War II when Allied forces launched the invasion of Normandy, France. We pay tribute to the incredible courage and sacrifice of the brave men and women who fought for freedom. Their legacy inspires us. Their determination and selflessness remind us to cherish the opportunities we have today. While challenges arise in our daily lives, let's remember the far greater struggles faced by those on D-Day. Instead of dwelling on frustrations, consider these options: ➕ Seek a positive change: If you're unhappy at work or in your life, explore solutions. Can you talk to someone, maybe your manager or find new opportunities within the company, can you find a way build positivity into others ? 💡 Try to be a better version of yourself every day. 🥇 Focus on making a difference: Look for ways to improve your workplace culture. 🔍 Can you enhance communication, boost morale, or contribute to a positive team spirit? 📈 Embrace the privilege of choice: Many today have the freedom to pursue different career paths. Let's honour D-Day by striving for a better future, both at work and in our communities. #DDay #NeverForget #ThankYou

🎉 Last week it was exactly 18 years since I started my professional career! It's hard to believe that I have been working professionally for so many years. My career started 18 years ago at the Urząd Marszałkowski Województwa Świętokrzyskiego, where I was involved in supporting the activities of the Voivodeship Board. 🏛️ I attended meetings, took minutes, and assigned numbers to resolutions and decisions. Over time, I was tasked with coordinating the voivodeship's participation in the Committee of the Regions at the EU and later with creating everything that today some of you may know as the "Świętokrzyska Victoria Award". 🏆 I experienced a true adventure organizing the 10th anniversary of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship! It was a beautiful time that taught me a lot about working in local government and introduced me to many wonderful people. ❤️ What have these 18 years taught me? 💡 🔑Commitment and determination are key to success. 🤝Building relationships is as important as achieving goals. 🌟There are no challenges that cannot be overcome - everything is possible with the right motivation. How about you? 🤔 🔹 How did you start your professional career? 🔹 What was your first professional job? 🔹 What are the most important lessons you've learned from your career? Share your experiences in the comments below! 👇 #Career #Experience #Inspiration #Networking #Work #Świętokrzyskie

This month the Get to Know Us series marks its two year anniversary. For this celebratory edition of the series, we’re introducing you to someone special… our CEO Job! Job is 43 years old and he comes from an agricultural family, growing up on a flower farm here in the Netherlands. As you might imagine, Job doesn’t have a normal day at work. As the CEO he is constantly on the move handling business. However, he believes his primary role is to empower everyone connected with C-Job, both internally and externally, to make the right decisions and maximize their potential efficiently and effectively. He can’t say he has a favorite C-Job project, but one that he’s really proud of is C-Job’s work on TESO’s Texelstroom. The historic project opened the doors for C-Job and resulted in a long list of interesting, challenging, and innovative projects. What Job enjoys most about being the CEO at C-Job is, seeing people thrive and grow in their developments, as well as the relationships that we develop with our clients and customers. Outside of work, Job likes anything that fits into these two categories: spending time with his family, or enjoying the water. They spend a lot of time together either on the boat or the beach. He is also a coach for his kids’ handball and field hockey teams. Can you guess which industry Job would have pursued if he didn’t work in the maritime industry? He would have liked to work in the healthcare business! #gettoknowus #cjobgettoknowus #employee #employeeappreciation #introduction #teammembers #navalarchitecture #engineering #maritime #CEO #ChiefExecutiveOfficer

Would I offer a free Christmas tree as an additional benefit to attract international specialists? Rather no. ❌ A shortage of skilled labour means you have to come up with something as a company. Even if the 🎄 sounds really nice, in a large international company you should bear in mind that not everyone has a Christian religion and uses a Christmas tree. 🌍 On the other hand, I am of course in favour of upholding traditions and putting up a Christmas tree IN the company. 🎅 I actually find the benefits listed above very attractive. So in my opinion, even without a tree, sounds like working there is quite nice. 👍✨ #DiversityAndInclusion #EmployeeBenefits #CompanyCulture #TalentAcquisition #WorkplaceTraditions

As we experience the first full moon of summer, coinciding with the summer solstice, it's a perfect moment to reflect on the powerful symbolism of balance in our professional lives. The summer solstice represents the longest day of the year, a peak of solar energy. When this aligns with a full moon, we witness a beautiful harmony of opposites: light and dark, masculine and feminine energies. This celestial event reminds us of the importance of balance in our work and personal lives. In business, finding equilibrium can be challenging yet essential. Just as the sun and moon balance each other, we too must strive to harmonize different aspects of our roles: 🌟 Work and Life: Ensuring that career ambitions do not overshadow personal well-being. 🌟 Strategic Vision and Tactical Execution: Balancing long-term goals with day-to-day operations. 🌟 Leadership and Collaboration: Leading with strength while fostering a culture of teamwork and inclusivity. This unique celestial alignment is a powerful metaphor for the synergy we should aim for in our professional endeavors. Let’s use this time to reflect on how we can better balance these forces, driving not only our success but also our fulfillment and well-being. Happy Summer Solstice Full Moon! #WorkLifeBalance #ProfessionalGrowth #SummerSolstice #FullMoon #BusinessInsights

A month ago, I had the privilege of attending a life-changing event organized by @ojatribe in Glasgow, Scotland, featuring Ibukun Awosika at @thelifeseriesng. Reflecting on the impactful lessons learned, it was truly a defining moment for both my personal growth and career. Two key takeaways resonate deeply with me at this stage of my life: - **Decide on who you want to be:** It's crucial to intentionally understand our values and beliefs to shape our identity. Many of us navigate through life without truly knowing ourselves. - **Fighting for our dreams:** I realize the importance of being intentional and fighting for what we want in life. This realization has ignited a newfound determination to pursue my dreams vigorously. Leaving the event, I am filled with a renewed drive to pursue my aspirations. This experience serves as a catalyst for the next chapter in my career and life. Let's all reflect: Have we identified our values and actively pursued the lives we dream of? #PersonalGrowth #CareerDevelopment #LifeLessons

21 Ways In 21 Day #20 Our National Day is Peoples Day. What if we reframed Australia’s National Day to “Peoples Day”? On ‘Peoples Day’ we would celebrate that we are the people now called Australians. We have the oldest living cultures on earth and every culture on earth. We honour all our peoples and our precious gift to live on this land together. On ‘Peoples Day’ we spend our time to honour the First Peoples of this land. We acknowledge the peoples who have travelled here to make this country the way it is now. We celebrate that all peoples now call this place home. On ‘Peoples Day’ we acknowledge our shared humanity. We amplify that there are more commonalities and connections we share than our differences. On ‘Peoples Day’ we accept our shared destiny. We embrace that we face the future together and will need to work together to make it the best we can. On ‘Peoples Day’ we celebrate the best of being the peoples here together. We claim and call out the things we do as Australians that show the best of us and make us proud. We could do all of these things on ‘Peoples Day’ to highlight that we can craft a belonging story big enough to hold our highs and lows together. I encourage you to embrace a notion that all the peoples here on this land that call this place home have a right and place on ‘Peoples Day’. Be encouraged and encourage others. Coming up next: January 26 – Let’s Make It Count.
