Our relationship with Shepard just continues to get bigger and bigger. Already in 2024- our team has already filmed in three different cities, not to mention being very close to finalizing an 8-part How-to Series that was filmed in our home studio in Atlanta. This video below was from our shoot in San Antonio last month. We sent our Producer/Director Josh Angus out to The Lone Star State to capture some Shepard-related footage at the Tech Advantage conference. One thing about partnering with Consume Media is that for out of town shoots, we will ALWAYS send out at least one member of our team to out of town shoots. Often multiple individuals depending on the size and scope of the project. I've heard horror stories from clients who have had similar projects, where production companies just contract out the entire gig- which ultimately leads to a mismatch between the goal and result of the project. I promise you, the initial investment is always going to be worth it. Remember the old adage 'Buy Cheap, Buy Twice' #videomarketing #eventmarketing

CEO & Founder @ Mnemonica: the viewing and sharing platform for the film industry. Secure, easy-to-use, made in EU.
One of the most challenging projects we faced is about to... air! Here are some numbers (and still counting) to understand how crucial Mnemonica has been in connecting all the dots of #production and #postproduction over the past year of work on Roland Emmerich's Those About to Die: - 270k uploaded files - 20 TB of total stored media - 17 TB of downloaded data - 430k watermarks burned in - 586 screening rooms - 285 users Without any issue. We hope that NBCUniversal, Peacock, Centropolis Entertainment, HOLLYWOOD GANG PRODUCTIONS, INC., and 10th Street Entertainment people felt at home on Mnemonica for all their review & approval and file transfer needs. It is a great honor for us to contribute worldwide to the success of gargantuan-proportion productions like this. It confirms the reliability of our technology, which can be the perfect partner for both small #indies and big #studio shows to keep and share valuable content easily and in total #security. What's next? #RolandEmmerich #ThoseAboutToDie #ComingSoon

The reviews on “Argyle” have been abysmal and yet in almost every cinema in Sweden the movie is getting prime screenings. For the exhibitors they are making some pocket change on the rentals of cinemas and distributors like Universal will rent the real estate out of it for the screens. But who is watching? There are still conversations with distributors and agents about packaging films with names and yet this packed line up of stars on this card, has not moved the needle and in spite of a whopping $150M *+ budgets. I do not believe today that a star cast or well known names in the movies drive audiences. I think stars on You Tube and TikTok have more cultural cache than ever before. This is not the first time a movie with heavy hitters on the card and budgets the size of nations GDPs has flopped. Either there is too much money around causing an inflation or a deliberate decision to drive subscribers to a platform - in this case AppleTV+ who are picking up the tab. But at what cost? Ideally, theatricals are the best experiences when done right between the producers, distribution and exhibitor pipeline. There is still a legitimate business model for movies to open in the theatricals windows. A global audience exists who will go to cinemas. However it is going to take more than a poster or star cast to build brand love and awareness to create community and drive the value of digital windows. But if you are one and the same - in the sense you are the theatrical and digital window such as Apple and Amazon - then it becomes a zero sum game and I am not sure how one justifies the bottom line.
Hollywood creative and industrial mayhem continues as 200M$ ‘Argylle’ crashes at box-office. 😱

I'll continue to say it. Every company will become a media company. I don't care if you're selling tech, ketchup, dog leashes, or pictures of Abraham Lincoln (I'd buy one). You will need to think of how you're going to use video media to get your message out. And not just one commercial, TikTok ad, or Super Bowl spot. You need a constant drip strategy. Does that mean you need to spend BIG bucks like Best Buy? NO. The big guys are not at an extreme advantage. In fact, many are at a disadvantage because of their own bureaucracy, processes and slow turn around. That's not to mention viewers social platforms and YouTube often trust the local underdog over the institutional giants. Those problems can be overcome, but they're problems a lot of us don't have. TL;DR = Your company is also a media company. Embrace it. ---- Am I wrong?

In the dynamic world of indie film production, finding and securing the perfect location on a budget is both an art and a science. While the classic approach of utilizing free public spaces such as parks and beaches can alleviate some costs, it's the innovative methods that are really changing the game for indie filmmakers. Crowdsourcing platforms like LocationHub are bridging the gap between filmmakers and property owners, offering access to unique locations without breaking the bank. Moreover, virtual scouting tools such as Google Street View and Matterport allow filmmakers to explore locations remotely, saving significant time and resources. Yet, the path is not without its hurdles. Limited resources and complex legal considerations around location agreements pose significant challenges. By leveraging community support, embracing technological innovations, and navigating legal landscapes wisely, indie filmmakers can turn these challenges into opportunities, creating memorable settings for their stories even on a tight budget. Let's continue to support and innovate in the indie film industry, pushing the boundaries of what's possible on screen. #IndieFilm #FilmProduction #Innovation For more insights, go to www.kvibe.com

Cineplex - when will you finally embrace the truth. Your online experience is deeply broken. I’ve been a customer of Cineplex for 30 years. And for as long as I can remember your digital experience is a disaster. Now I appreciate you have a near monopoly on film going experiences in Canada. But that shouldn’t stop you from prioritizing the best interests of your customers. If you ignore this, that’s fine. But understand that you’re leaving customers dissatisfied with your online systems. Please spend the time and money and hire a firm to help you fix this. Clearly your internal teams cannot fix what’s wrong or worse are not supported by their executives to tackle this challenge. And don’t for a second issue some note that this is a one time, seasonal, or external vendor (3rd party) issue. Just embrace the horror and make this a priority. To the front line workers in the theatre, thank you for your good work and service. Going to the movies is fun. To your digital experience team - get it together. And to CEO Ellis Jacob, smart move limiting your online connections on LinkedIn. No way to follow or message you easily. Good call avoiding communicating with your customers. #cineplex #howisthisstillaproblem #fixthisnonsense
