Are you at the #NationalRestaurantShow and having trouble picking out one highlight from the trip? I had that problem for about 3 seconds before knowing that my highlight has been meeting Shereen Qumsieh, CEO of Akira, and being there as she worked the show like a boss! Three things that stood out in particular: 1. Discussion around actionability and automation. Brands & partners were feeling a weight could be taken off compared to the typical overwhelm of trying take control of a brand's online reputation. Amazing use case for #AI. 2. Creativity can pave the way to powerful partnerships. Really helps to be able to think outside the box when thinking about how two companies can best work together to serve customers. 3. When you really care, it shows. Conversations go next level when the participants care about about what they do and who they're doing it for. Shereen, it was an honor to spend some quality time with you in Chicago, and we (me, Michael T. Beck and Paul Molinari) are super proud to have you as a Popcorn GTM client and friend. Savneet Singh of PAR Technology/Punchh spoke to Forbes back in November about the future of digital engagement in restaurants. Key points: (since the article could be behind the paywall for some). 1. 𝙎𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙡𝙤𝙮𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙮 (loyalty is not effective when not integrated into mobile payments and online ordering) 2. 𝙎𝙪𝙗𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜! (they must provide ongoing value and they should change how consumers look at the brand) 3. In this project, I developed a machine learning model to predict restaurant ratings based on various features. The dataset was preprocessed to handle missing values and encode categorical variables. After splitting the data into training and testing sets, a regression algorithm was selected and trained on the training data. The model's performance was evaluated using metrics such as mean squared error and R-squared on the testing data, demonstrating its effectiveness in predicting restaurant ratings. Additionally, the model's results were interpreted to identify the most influential features affecting ratings, providing valuable insights for stakeholders in the restaurant industry. #cognifyztechnologies #cognifyz #cognifyztech

Excited to share my latest project in feature engineering! I utilized innovative techniques to extract additional features from existing columns, such as determining the length of restaurant names and addresses. Moreover, I created new features like "Has Table Booking" or "Has Online Delivery" by encoding categorical variables, adding depth and richness to the dataset. This approach not only enhanced the quality of our data but also empowered more nuanced analysis and predictive modeling. Cognifyz Technologies🚀🚀📈 Level 2 Project Update: Table Booking, Price Range Analysis & Feature Engineering Task 1: Table Booking and Online Delivery Analysis - Determined the percentage of restaurants that offer table booking and online delivery. - Compared the average ratings of restaurants with table booking and those without. - Analyzed the availability of online delivery among restaurants with different price ranges. Task 2: Price Range Analysis - Determined the most common price range among all the restaurants. - Calculated the average rating for each price range. - Identified the color representing the highest average rating among different price ranges. Task 3: Feature Engineering - Extracted additional features from existing columns (e.g., restaurant name/address length). - Created new features like "Has Table Booking" or "Has Online Delivery" by encoding categorical variables.
