The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment shared #equalopportunitypolicy for transgender persons and also uploaded it on their website. You can access the document from the mentioned link- https://lnkd.in/gPQputfX This policy complies with the 2020 Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) regulations in an effort to end discrimination, promote equal opportunity, and establish a working culture that upholds the rights and dignity of transgender people. The policy establishes a strong grievance redressal process in lieu of discrimination, harassment, and bias in order to ensure that transgender people are treated fairly. The responsibilities of the Ministry has been outlined as well, which also mandates the compliance officer to address the issues of TG persons at the workspaces.
