Today is World Mental Health Day, a reminder to prioritize our mental well-being just as much as our physical health. Mental health matters for everyone, and it's okay to ask for help. Whether it's talking to a friend, seeking professional support, or practicing self-care, taking care of your mind is key to living a balanced life. Value-based care is an approach in which healthcare providers, such as doctors, focus on delivering high-quality, coordinated care tailored to a patient's needs. The “value” refers to what matters most to the individual receiving care. In this model, healthcare providers work together to manage a person's overall health, emphasizing the quality of care, provider performance, and patient experience. The CMS Innovation Center runs pilot programs, called “models,” to test different strategies for effective value-based care. These programs aim to improve care by encouraging providers to coordinate services, reduce unnecessary hospital visits, and treat patients holistically. This includes addressing both medical and non-medical needs and helping patients set and achieve their health goals. https://ow.ly/YZJN50THlQy

Happy Rosh Hashanah to all who celebrate! As we observe Rosh Hashanah, meaning "head of the year" in Hebrew, we enter a significant period for reflection and repentance in the Jewish tradition. This holiday, known as the "day of judgment," encourages us to contemplate our actions over the past year and seek improvement moving forward. According to the Talmud, the world was created on the first day of Tishrei, the seventh month of the Jewish calendar. This year, Rosh Hashanah is celebrated over the first and second days of Tishrei, typically in September or October, and marks the beginning of the High Holy Days leading up to Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. A key ritual during Rosh Hashanah is the blowing of the Shofar, a ram's horn that serves as a call to repentance. Many of us gather in synagogues for services and take a break from work to focus on spiritual renewal. Wishing you all a meaningful and sweet new year! Shana Tova! #RoshHashanah #JewishNewYear #ShanaTova #ATWHealth
