Our 2024 kicked off with full throttle during our annual EOS session with Sven Saerens. Over two days of intense work, we looked back on 2023, reflected on the successes and challenges, and charted out another year of actions to propel us towards our long-term goal. Our overarching objective is to become the one-stop partner for those undertaking challenging, land-based aquaculture projects done the right way! In these sessions, we set aside the technical jargon and focus on viewing our business from a higher perspective. For us, as engineers and scientists often immersed in day-to-day operations, this necessitates a complete shift in perspective. We delve into work life, our team dynamics, life itself, our sector, and even the world we inhabit. We confront the harsh realities and focus into what truly matters. We identify obstacles hindering Landing from becoming the business we envision. Then, we strategize—planning weekly, quarterly, and yearly actions that, when executed relentlessly, will guide us to our desired destination. For all our friends and colleagues aiming to elevate their businesses (or run them smoothly), feel free to reach out to Sven or explore the EOS content and literature. #EOS #successes #challenges #objective #perspective #realities #focus #strategize #destination

It is with an increased sense of responsibility, match by the enthusiasm, that I’ve accepted to represent SLM Partners at Regenerative Food Systems Investment Europe. Two years of El Roble project, managed by and with Alfonso Chico de Guzman, in partnership with Regeneration Academy deserves to be shared and publicized. Regen Ag, in all its components, is the driving force of this project where 100% of the productive areas will be Organic certified, where aprox. 30% of the total area is to be preserved for Biodiversity and Natural areas restoration, where 100% of the eletricity needs is secured by renewable sources and where an average of 10 students a year spend a few months studying regen and organic agriculture practices and outcomes. Last year, online, I had the honor of sharing table with Alfonso Chico de Guzman. This year I’m hopping for a good surprise, with an extra seat on the table… #RFSIEurope24 #regenerativeagriculture #regenerativefarming #investing #impactinvesting
