My multiple forms of #neurodivergence are the 'norm'. 🧠 I've spent over 30 years in the world of work putting in place my own #adjustments, using various #CopingMechanisms, and sometimes just #masking the true nature of my #CognitiveDiversity. I think I've done alright; I've had a great career and I've achieved success in a lot of different ways - both as an employee and as a leader of people.
My best experiences in the world of work though, have been when my #managers, #colleagues, #clients and #stakeholders have demonstrated a truly #inclusive approach to how things #operate, to how we all #communicate, and to how much our #differences are embraced.
In recent years, myself and my team members at Diversity Scotland / Diversity Company have had the pleasure of working with #leaders and #employees at a range of organisations around the world to share best practice on #neuroinclusion in the #workplace.
The #tech and #digital industry has been making great strides in this area, and just this week we've enjoyed working with a #GreenTech company to build on their already impressive progress when it comes to #neurodiversity.
If this is an area where you'd like support, whether that's in relation to #InclusiveHiring or #EmployeeSupport, then get in touch to discuss how we can help.
(Pic for attention and giggles. Here is me and my bestie gail porter, who is a a fellow #ADHDer and #NDadvocate. Just this morning we light-heartedly discussed how bringing back the TV show #Bullseye with Gail as the host would be a hoot and her dream job! So, if anyone out there can make that happen then do get in touch!!) 😂🎯 📺
