As part of its global expansion, Polestar plans to enter seven new countries in 2025. The company will also increase its retail presence in existing markets in #Europe. The company still isn’t present in #France, the EU’s second-largest EV market after Germany. It plans to change that fact in 2025 and is considering entering four more EU markets in the same year – #CzechRepublic, #Slovakia, #Hungary, and #Poland. Polestar Day has come and gone. 🌠 The past months, and last few weeks especially, of sheer blood, sweat and tears putting this behemoth event together have been tough. But oh, so rewarding. 😎 All our cars - Polestar 2, 3, 4, 5, Precept, Roadster, Synergy and a total of nine genuine development prototypes (Polestar 3, 4 and 5) - descended on LA to make a statement. Not just of gorgeous Swedish EVs surrounded by customers, press, investors and employees. And not just about the awesome innovation that is coming to life as we work hard with key strategic partners. 💪 To show that we are not just another EV maker. We are different. We are smart. We are Polestar. ✨ Through the keynote from Thomas, Max, Tanya and partners, we made and reiterated several important announcements: - Polestar 3 will be our first car to feature Bcomp Ltd's natural fibre composites with our signature weave 🌿 - Polestar 3 will spearhead a huge #V2G pilot project in Gothenburg ⚡ - Polestar 4 has the lowest CO₂e footprint of any of our cars at launch - Polestar 4 is set to gain LiDAR from Luminar Technologies which will integrate with Mobileye Chauffeur in the future 🤖 - Polestar 4 will be produced by Renault Korea Motors (르노코리아자동차) in Busan, South Korea, in addition to Hangzhou Bay, China, from the second half of 2025 🔧 - Polestar 5 battery cells will be supplied by SK On 🔋 - Polestar 5 will demo StoreDot's extreme fast charging technology next year as part of our advanced engineering project 🔌 All the details are here: https://lnkd.in/duth9jHF As you can tell, the PR team has been rather busy. We join the Polestar 0 project to create the car of the future! 🌍 The Polestar 0 project by the electric vehicle manufacturer Polestar aims to create a climate-neutral car by the year 2030 by eliminating all greenhouse gas emissions stemming from the production and end-of-life of the car. We contribute to the project by developing climate-neutral premium tires 💪 Tackling the climate crisis takes innovation, creativity and collaboration across industries. The target of the Polestar 0 -project is that throughout the car’s supply chain, manufacturing processes, and end of life, all sources of CO2 emissions will be eliminated without offsetting them. The approach encompasses collaboration across the entire development process and value chain, from suppliers to retailers. “This type of partnership is a perfect match when it comes to Nokian Tyres’ values, business and our ambitious work on sustainability,” says Teemu Soini, our Head of Innovation and Development.
