🤩 Kim's journey has been nothing short of inspiring 🙌 It’s been an on going one that most of you won’t see, far beyond the physical transformation Kim first come to us severely held back by her condition. This held her back with her fitness, and would often impact what she would physically so beyond the gym too Fat loss and getting stronger is incredible, but what those outcomes can give you beyond “the look” is cataclysmic 💥 Kim has grown as a person tremendously, gets involved in way more things than she ever would have, and does so with huge bouts of new found confidence It’s common place for Kim to be telling me that she’s just gone into a shop and brought the next size down 😂 a message I love celebrating with her too! With no signs of slowing down, bigger goals set and bigger PBs hit 🏋️♀️ Super proud of you Kim! 💙💙 It’s clear that when you do the work, trust the process and stay consistent; it really doesn’t matter How big you are Small you are Age you are Or what ailment/disability you have These are stories we tell ourselves - sometimes it’s all just about breaking that cycle 🙌🙌 DM me “ KIM “ to find out how I guarantee these results for Team More Life #gymbham #ptbirmingham #suttoncoldfield #tamworthfitness #castlebrom #suttoncoldfield #121gymcoach #personaltrainerbirmingham #swbirmingham #gymbuddy #birminghamuk #bhamweightloss #celebratingclients #clientcoaching #resultsfocusedcoach #transformationcoach #puregym #puregymbirmingham #puregymsuttoncoldfield #hemipower #hemifam #hemipowered

All the… Pitching coaches. QB coaches. Catching coaching. Shooting coaches. Club sports teams. Elite training centers. Have it all backward! They train the position or sport first. Plugging each athlete into their cookie-cutter program. The problem is the athletes are probably not ready or even need it. Instead, train the human first, then the athlete, then the sport, then the position. Let your kid become a good human first. Dialing in nutrition, sleep, and being able to move properly. Then get them more athletic. Being able to sprint, jump, throw, crawl, roll, hop, skip, climb, and a bunch of other athletic movements. This allows them to become better at their sports or positions. Even if they only play one sport they should be efficient in other sports and movements because it helps them become better movers and problem solvers. This is what we do in our Youth Athletes 4 Life program. We help kids become better athletes through nutrition, sleep, habits, and a training program that is built for them! We don’t plug them into a cookie-cutter program built for someone else. We design a plan that meets them where they are and progress at their pace. If you want your athletes to start being better athletes, get them started with TAG! Can your kids still be multisport stars like #deionsanders #tombrady #bojackson and #drewbrees or should they pick one sport? Maybe you should consider the career of U.S. national team rower Sophia Vitas, who found her favorite sport in college. Right now, maybe your kids should just be playing many sports for the overall mental and physical health benefits. Here are five tips to help them find the right moment to specialize in a sport (if they specialize at all). Thanks to Michele Labotz, Eric Post, Tamara Valovich McLeod, Gregory Walker and Vitas for their insight for this column.

How the gym taught me the importance of community... So, here's a little something I learned this week that I just had to share: the gym isn't just about lifting weights, it's about the people you're lifting them with. I've been hitting the gym since the start of high school, always pushing myself to get stronger, faster, better. But this week, something clicked for me. My school started doing these team lifts in the mornings for us athletes. And let me tell you, the vibe was totally different. We were all in it together, cheering each other on, shouting encouragement, and celebrating every new personal record. And guess what? It worked. I finally nailed that squat record I'd been struggling with for weeks. Plus, I was just five pounds shy of breaking the school record in hang clean. But honestly, it's not just about my achievements. What really hit me was how having a crew of people backing you up can totally change the game. When you've got people rooting for you and pushing toward the same goals, suddenly everything feels more achievable. So, moral of the story: community matters. Having that support system makes all the difference. It keeps you focused, motivated, and set on crushing your goals, even when things get tough. When has the power of community amazed you? #fitnesscommunity #teamwork #support #motivation #personalgrowth #goalsetting #fitnessjourney #communityengagement #achievement #successmindset

When does the training session begin? When does it end? You might be surprised when you find out that most athletes remain catabolic for hours after their training sessions as a result of a failure to regulate their nervous systems. This mismanagement of the nervous system costs them in many ways. Everything from reduced nutrient delivery to a shortened recovery window, the impact of overlooking nervous system regulation can have a snowball effect, leading to reduced performance, increased propensity for injury, and a greater chance of illness. All of these things cost valuable time that one could be using for growth and higher levels of training. This is Joe Bobe a competitive BJJ athlete from Indiana. In this picture, we are learning to regulate the nervous system and maximize the results of training. Joe is already an incredible athlete, and like most amazing athletes, he is invested in becoming better in every way possible. Are you ready to learn to get the most out of your training? I am opening 3 slots for 1 on 1 training. These sessions come with the enhancement of the cutting-edge Oxa device. These personalized programs are for athletes who want to want to have an edge on their competition. If you are interested, DM me with the word "TRAIN" today, and we will find a time to discuss what my program can do for you. #bjj #athlete #athleticperformance #breathwork #breathe #breath #sports #athleticperformance #enhanced #focus #leadership #coaching #mindset #Athletics #mma #fighter #gym #gymlife #health #wellness #gym #gymmotivation #training #nervoussystem #science
