I absolutely love this collaboration! As a Latina with deep Dominican roots, it fills me with pride to see genres like bachata and dembow featured. However, I must highlight the disparity and lack of recognition for the artists who truly represent our bachata culture—the pioneers and legends who laid the foundation for the genre and continue to inspire artists like Romeo Santos and Aventura. It would be incredible to see these legends acknowledged and celebrated in platforms like Latin Billboard and at major events.
