As the marketing world shakes off that post-Cannes, post-4th of July fog, we're heading right into the thick of 2024 Holiday planning. The vast majority of my retail clients have shared that their Q4 sales targets are higher than ever (zero surprise!). Now's the time to collectively ask ourselves: 1) Have we reviewed the data around how consumers *actually* shop, or are we just following last year’s marketing calendar? 2) Why didn’t we meet our conversion goals last year if our ad spend (including digital) was at an all time high? 3) Will this marketing plan capture the attention of the elusive Gen Z?
