Tomorrow is the Ball State University Cardinal Job Fair! The Cardinal Job Fair holds a special place in my heart because it’s where I met Marques Fisher back in 2009 (or 2008). Even though we didn’t have a job to offer…just a free student membership, that connection turned into something much more valuable. To this day, I tell students about Marques and how intentional he was about his involvement with the Indiana CPA Society. He didn’t just sign up as a student member—he jumped in, attending events, volunteering, and building connections. I encourage every student to attend recruiting events like this, not just for the potential job offers, but to meet people and build relationships. Engage with the professionals you meet, follow up, and if they offer to have coffee or a chat—take them up on it! Your future career isn’t just about landing a job; it’s about building a network. So, there is no better time to start than now. If you need a pep talk before an interview or event, Anyah E. Cork & I are here for you! #futureCPA #relationships

I teach learning through music. Composer, Performer, Producer, Education Specialist. Advocate for mental health, wellness, and universal design for learning to meet the needs of ALL learners.
Any free continuing education offer with Jennifer Gonzalez, let me be the one to tell you if you don't know already -- Clear your schedules! Don't miss it :) When I was getting my credential, it was Jennifer who first helped me understand the critical transition between learning to read and reading to learn. As I began teaching, I discovered there is a parallel discernment we as #EduCreators (love that word, genius Christel Guillen!!) make daily between thinking to write and writing to think: there are editing ("thinking to write") moments, and there are creative moments ("writing to think"). In all classrooms, there is room to support both at differentiated levels for all students--we just have to keep equipping ourselves and pushing education further, higher, and wider. I hope this is a packed house -- excited for this!!!

P. Brijlall ( WSIB ) ANTISEMITISM, HATRED, AND RASESS; After a workplace accident, WSIB put me through hell and made my injuries twice as worse permanently then robbed me of my benefits just because of the colour of my skin. Sandra Di Carlo the case manager took me out from physio therapy that was helping me with my recovery and sent me to wsib Doctor and physio therapy that made my injuries twice as worse permanently. Deb Remekie, The lady at WSIB that robbed me of my benefit, she said that I can sell jewelry, she thinks because I am black I can steal jewelry and sell, so she decided to rob me of my benefit. And it's not a joke she said it verbally and in writing. And believed it or not the APPEALS TRIBUNAL agreed with her without a doubt or any question Atal. The Tribunal did not look at my file, apparently they don't even care to look at my file.
