PMA represented Performance Food Group, Inc. (PFG) in its acquisition of José Santiago, Inc., Puerto Rico’s leading broadline foodservice distributor. A team of PMA attorneys advised and represented PFG (NYSE: PFGC) in its acquisition of José Santiago, Inc. (JSI), a leading broadline foodservice distributor with approximately 5,800 customers in Puerto Rico. The transaction closed on July 2, 2024. JSI was founded in 1902 and was a family-owned business prior to its acquisition by PFG. JSI is headquartered in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, and employs approximately 530 employees, all based in Puerto Rico. PFG is an industry leader and one of the largest food and foodservice distribution companies in North America. Founded and headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, PFG and its subsidiaries market and deliver quality food and related products to over 300,000 locations. The PMA team was led by members Iván G.
