After three prep tests for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) I can tell you concentrate very much on WAF (Well-Architected Framework) and CAF (Cloud Adoption Framework). I got so many questions about both that sometimes your brain starts spinning and you are not sure what is right or wrong. So, spend time really digesting that material in docs section because it is important. I handle other stuff somehow easily but whatever goes in this kind of pure theory it tends to get a bit of confusing at least for me. Also, way how questions are made you have to concentrate 100% otherwise you will miss small detail that makes your answer correct or not. I tried first prep test at night after really long and tiresome day, and it was really a challenge. One I did in the morning after full nights rest was much better. Another thing that I still haven't managed to do is actually going through the list of all AWS services and reading what they do. That is another important thing because sometimes some services that you never heard about pop up and you have no idea what they are for, so my advice is go again with docs and check all listed services in AWS Services Overview. Now I am still far away from finished with preparing for test, but I am really in that final finishing prep mode. This is it for today. I think something that prevents many people from building their cloud portfolio is the thought of how tedious it will be. Truth is, IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE! Much of that worry is in their heads. It's never as bad as you think. In fact, it's pretty fun doing projects and learning about how things all interconnect with one another. My advice? Just start simple. For example, creating a static website is a great starter project that can be done with the steps below: 💡 Create a Cloud Storage Bucket: Use a service like AWS S3 or Azure Blob Storage. 💡 Upload Your Website Files: Just drag and drop your HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files. 💡 Configure Public Access: Make your bucket public so everyone can see your site. 💡 Point a Domain: Set up a domain to direct traffic to your storage bucket. That's it! No need for complicated setups. Sometimes, the simplest solutions are the most effective. Happy Thursday good people! ☀

Now that school is almost over 🔥 , I have some free time to get back to learning again. The goal is to be more consistent and focused in my learning, build cloud projects, build in public, and get an entry cloud role before the year runs out (no pressures though🙈) For this reason, I will be starting with 40 days of cloud here(challenging myself to be consistent for the next 40 days first) using this resource(https://lnkd.in/d3TtX7d6) by Gwyneth Peña-Siguenza  the resource is well structured, has a couple of projects for each phase, and different resources to use based on your learning type 😊 . Day 6/15: Consistency Challenge I'm super excited to share my progress with you all! I've earned my "Get Started with Cloud Storage" what I've accomplished so far: I've conquered four challenges: 1. I learned to use the APIs Explorer to manage Cloud Storage APIs, making it easier to manage my APIs. 2. I got hands-on experience with managing cloud storage using the CLI and SDK, which has boosted my efficiency. 3. I configured and locked bucket policies to meet regulatory requirements, learning advanced data retention techniques. 4. I put everything into practice in a challenge lab, which tested my skills in real-world scenarios. Here are my key takeaways: - Managing data retention policies is crucial for compliance. - Automation and using the right tools (like gsutil) can save a ton of time! - Every challenge is an opportunity to learn more about cloud technologies and fine-tune my skills. And here are some insights and observations: - The CLI is a powerful way to manage cloud resources, offering more flexibility than the GUI. - Regulatory requirements like Bucket Lock can add layers of security and integrity to data management. I've also overcome some challenges: - Handling errors and troubleshooting misconfigurations in real-time, especially during the challenge labs. - Efficiently managing bucket policies, retention periods, and temporary holds. Hey folks!! 30 Days of Cloud Challenge - Day 1 "Create an Amazon S3 Bucket and Upload a File" 🎉 Excited to share that I've created a Proof of Concept (PoC) for working with Amazon S3! As part of this project, I developed a simple 3-step procedure for uploading files to an S3 bucket. Here's a quick rundown of how it works: Create a Bucket: Start by setting up an S3 bucket in your AWS account. Choose a unique name and region that best suits your needs. Prepare Your File: Gather the file you want to upload and ensure it's in the correct format for your use case. This could be anything from a simple text document to a more complex dataset. Upload to S3: Using AWS's console or CLI, upload your file to the S3 bucket. Ensure you have the necessary permissions and set the appropriate access controls.
