Founder & CEO, Prime Edge Media | Helping mission-focused businesses and nonprofits grow with proven social media & web video marketing strategies
The biggest lesson I’ve learned in my business career is that what you DO doesn’t actually matter to your prospects… It’s what they THINK you do. Ever Googled a restaurant, and found one with photos of food that looks really good, and one with photos that look really bad? The choice you went with is obvious, even if the restaurant that had terrible photos had amazing food. When it comes to marketing, perception is EVERYTHING. How does your brand come to the table? #videomarketingstrategy #socialmediamarketing #inboundmarketing #videomarketingtips #videomarketing #branding #videomarketingexpert #westmichiganbusiness #grandrapidsmichigan #grandrapidsbusiness

How wine 🍷 inspired my brand This isn’t one of those stories where I tell you I drank 3 bottles of wine and formed a riveting brand strategy (though that could be entertaining). This story is about beautiful wineries, wonderful experiences and stunning bottle labels. About 20 years ago friends of mine moved to Okanagan Falls, BC and very quickly adapted to the wine way of life. They gifted me my first wine tasting tour and I fell in love with the experience. I had just started my first business and kept looking at all the beautiful design around the different wineries and started taking photos, snagging brochures and of course buying wine. It was a dreamland of inspiration for me in a few ways. 1️⃣ The look and feel of the decor tied in perfectly to the bottle labels, marketing materials and signage. Hellooooo consistency! 2️⃣ The vibe at most of the wineries was fun, interesting and left me feeling educated and kind of elite. I was now a wine connoisseur of course. 3️⃣ It was social and I love to be social. Wine tasting inspired me to make my brand cohesive across everything I produced, said and did. It inspired my brand to be fun, interesting and educational to my clients. It also inspired my brand to feel social so work would be fun. Share in the comments what interesting things inspired your brand. The more we share, the more we can inspire others!
