Honest Management #3 Hiring competent and passionate people There are 2️⃣ key principles here in hiring competent and passionate people. 1️⃣ the #honestmanager owes it to their current employees or those they manage to ensure that first they hire the most competent people to do the job properly and 2️⃣ secondly, to hire people who care passionately about what they do and those they serve, be it customers or their own colleagues. These two key principles will show your #employees that you care about them and what they do because competent colleagues help each other in the team and passionate people ensure that they work with #integrity to serve people. #honestmanagement #leadbyexample #leadershipmindset

why are there so many managers poor in managing down the line employees? A person is promoted due to three main reasons 1) Technical expertise 2) Seniority 3) Personal Relationship with someone in top management. As your Consultant, I offer targeted management and leadership coaching to elevate team performance, fostering a deep understanding of sustained excellence.
As a manager, if you assume that everyone is on your side, you’ve already lost the most crucial battle. You will be undermined wittingly or unwittingly by internal adversaries—those covertly working against your goals—causing you to spin your wheels, slow down, or halt progress altogether. Your responsibility isn’t to determine who supports you, but to identify and address those who are not fulfilling their responsibilities or adhering to established policies and procedures. Approach this with consistency and respect, ensuring that everyone is held accountable and standards are maintained. #whatmakesmanagersmatter

Managers are pivotal in every organization. While #experiences vary, it's the interpersonal skills that determine what's best for the team and the project. A #manager should act as a shield, filtering out negativity, fostering a productive environment, and enabling employees to leverage their core strengths to fulfill project objectives and career aspirations. #talentmanagement #umbrella #interpersonalskills
